All Paints were mixed to a creamy consistency kinda like shampoo
Pouring Medium: 75% Flood Floetrol / 25% Liquitex Pouring Medium
Different amounts of water were added to heavier body paints
Paint to PM Ratio: 1 part paint to 2.5-3 parts PM (Golden fluid paints 1 part paint to 3-4 parts PM)

Love it! We must be vibing Cathleen...I was just putting some finishing touches on your swoosh swipe tonight. And I used the exact same color pallet as you did with this gorgeous piece...the only difference is I used some deep violet mixed with a burnt sienna color called mortum caput😕...it made a real rich burgundy color. I love mixing paint also...it's half the fun.😃 I can't wait for you to see my Coz swoosh🙄! I love it. I added some scrollwork style ancanthus leaves on it. I had to pull myself away from the painting I was having to much fun painting the ancanthus leaves. I'll send you a picture as soon as I can. Now I've got to do a swipe like this one...it's just stunning!😊🌟❄🌟❄🌟

Hi Cathleen, beautiful swipe as always! Question for you: I too am a huge fan of the Deco Art Treasure Gold series, what is your advice on using Folk Art Colorshift? Would you recommend mixing them with another color or using as standalone paints? I can’t seem to get a good grasp on pouring with them- easily swallowed up by other colors, at least that’s been my experience with “Blue Flash, Emerald and Aqua Flash.” Thanks a ton! 😀
Hello Justin. Welcome. I have only tried the color shift in the aqua. It did great. But my pallet was very monochromatic. It works well with other blue hues as well as DecoArt metallic pewter. Yummy color. Happy Painting Journey Justin 😊🎨

Juanita not sure I understand your question. I always do a final tilt to make sure there’s very little movement or none at all in the paint.

I don’t use a heat gun. I use a butane torch. Most hardware stores carry them.

Pardon me for saying that I love to watch everything you do, however when you run your hands across the blank canvas, to me it sounds like fingernails on the blackboard. That scratchy sound. Please don’t stop being you. I can turn the sound down and watch the transcript. Thank you for your videos.
