Love it. I listen to 'Call Of the West' a lot at work to drown out the corporate radio, and I go from a Hootie/Sheryl Crow/Matchbox 20 quagmire to the barren eerie stretches of the southwestern deserts. 'On Interstate 15' and 'Hands of Love' are my favorites...
This song is perfect for playing when you're out on Interstate 15 on your way to Nevada, out of California, or on your way back into California in the late summer afternoon, after being out in the buttfuck of nowhere.
@@bandfromtheband9445, or do it while you count flowers on the wall and are playing solitaire with a deck of 51..while watching CAPN KANGAROO and smoking cigs..Well. don't tell me you've got nothing to do.
Something about this optimistic tune reminds me of "A New Career in a New Town", track 7 of _Low._ So much anticipation and unapologetic hope Plus which the artwork just knocks me *OUT*
When I was early in my RADIO career, working the overnight music announcers shift(I was also SPORTS DIRECTOR there), this was my closing theme back in the 1980's..Top 40 ROCK AND ADULT CONTEMP. Yep, KINL-AM(KEPS-FM the SPANISH LANGUAGE station of the combo), EAGLE PASS, TX. 1983&'84 on the MEXICAN border/ACROSS FROM PIEDRAS NEGRAS ON THE RIO GRANDE.. MIDNITE TO 6AM with me the NIGHT OWL..cause I GIVE A HOOTY HOOT.. LOL.. Oh, those were the days. I used to tell the listening border patrolmen: DON'T SHOOT, WE'RE ALL AMERICAN RADIO(ALL AMERICAN RADIO was our marketing catchphrase)..boy, that ticked off my station manager, lol.. I love this instrumental.. CALL OF THE WEST is also another terrific song by WALL OF V.
Can I vote once a year?! Such a Military/Mentally abstract and bizzare conduit to my Covid-19survival Protocol. Be well All. Onto Daevid Allen and Gong now. See you on the Moontower!

Listening to Call of the West at work...okeydokey. Surprised you don't stab people
Call of the west is amazing
Your whole life anew!
Imagine it in 1983
one of their very best instrumentals - outside the spaghetti film covers!!!!!!!!!!!!
Morricone was like Michelangelo ; Rock is Rock!
Still one of my all time favorites from back in the day when everything was less complicated.
You up for call of the west?
One of the coolest 80's band ever!

Warms my heart! Love this song and album!
It's in my head too
2 years later, still cutting edge!
Check back in two years, still sharp as a Ginsu.
More like 40 years later.

Big County's out your way, my friend. Me from West Virginia, and this is like a Musical "Coal Truck Anthem!"
@@chriscollins570 It makes you bob your head back and forth! It's best to watch an episode of Captain Kangaroo, then put this song on your turntable!

Yep, an all time favorite.
Just another thumb-up for Stan and the gang. Now at 83-0!
This sounds like background music to the grooviest and most atmospheric video game never made.
interstate 82 if it was good
It certainly makes your head wag back and forth to the rhythm!
No! Music to a New Wave Spaghetti Western.

I picture pain medded up geriatrics on a merry-go-round smiling 😃

That was just Bowie enjoying the December sunshine of cold war West Berlin.

wicked cool!!
me encanta esta melodia
They use a theremin on this track. Last time I heard one used was Good Vibrations by the Beach Boys.
What was used on Good Vibrations was a Tannerin.
Two people couldn't find the exit to I-15 in Vegas.
Not true!
@@bandfromtheband9445 Well now it's three.
I bet a few Kentucky Derby Jockeys had this song programmed in their minds at Post Time!
Twisted western movie music is my kind of western movie music.

ALTERA HISTORIA DU ROCK

Camouflage’s favourite instrumental.
I remember when interstate 15 was called main street
That guy on the horse looks sorta like Cal Worthington
