Pruning and uprooting: a letter on reading the Bible.

For the first time in my life, I challenged myself to read the bible for a whole year. I thought I would decipher its meaning and apply it to my life. instead, the word of God pierced through my heart and read me instead. I am still 'work in progress'. God keeps uprooting and pruning everything in me that is not of His kingdom ( and I keep putting up a fight). looking at how far God has brought me, I know He has greater plans for me and so, I pray that He keeps uprooting weeds that have made themselves resident in the garden of my life. Though it is not easy (nor fun), I pray that through these bible dates, God will keep revealing who I am in Him.( and I hope you can join in on this process too. )
