In this Anchor class we will study in detail some of the minor prophets that are closely linked with the book of Revelation. Among those are Habakkuk, Nahum, Joel and Jonah. We will also study portions of the major prophets that are developed in the book of Revelation such as Jeremiah 4, Isaiah 24-27, 36-38 and Ezekiel 38-39 among others. But this is not all, we will also compare God’s perspective of prophecy and ours as well as prophecies that are rarely considered, such as the typological meaning of the cities of refuge, the glory on the face of Moses as he descended from the mount, and the typological parallels between the building of the Jerusalem wall by Nehemiah and our parallel work today.

I wonder how the Pastor then after such a presentation would disagree with Miller on 2520 scattering and gathering prophecy
It's would be a low biblical IQ and a rooky detective in bible to jump to the conclusion that both gathering and scattering use by both men are the same and it's connected with 2520.
There is no word for times in leviticus 26, the word their is just 7, punish you 7, times was added by the translators, just like sacrifice added to daily in Daniel 8, so one can't build a doctrine on the added word sacrifice or time, but one would have to build it on the the word daily and 7 ; but not 7 (times) and not daily (sacrifice).
So Miller did make a mistake in his 14 principles by not letting this word carry its proper bearing, we all make mistake but to hold on to error is grave as the Longest reckoning reach to the autumn of 1844 that's the 2300 days, so 2520 could never be a prophecy cause if the longest is 2300, mathematically 2520 is longer.
Do you realize in egw ministry of over 70yrs she has never preach or taught this 2520, she has been to many new belivers and countries and can't image someone today who believes in 2520 hold it salvivic and foundational and don't teach it once, every 2520 belivers never kept silent on this subject but to claim egw belives it but kept silent on this early prominent teaching is really a rooky bad biblical detective even in church history...please go back and reconsider and don't be shaken by false doctrine which is happening today amongst many sda today, may our loving Jesus have mercy upon us all to be shielded from sin and error...
@@GodisGood7. Thank you for your response. Let me say the Pastor showed evidence of the existence of scattering and gathering as Miller did. The pastor Mentioned the 1260 scattering by Papal Rome, of which we all know this power was not the first scatter. If half was done by Papal system, the half had been achieved through paganism.
Miller saw the number 2520 from counting how many years it took to achieve such a work. We can deny the number all we want but its there.
Miller's truthfulness is not judged by Ellen White. The later is subject to the former. All prophets who came after Moses were subject to him not vice versa. Ellen White can't contradict Miller, which she never did. She recorded Miller's dream for a reason. So she is out. We just need to deal with Miller alone and the bible.

@@GodisGood7. Here is a summary of submission. The Pastor mentioned, the scattering done by papal Rome for 1260. He even mentioned what the army of Joel is. The quotations of EGW confirms his point as well. Now Miller mentioned both paganism and papalism. How then was he wrong. After calculating the time it took, still one would come to the same time period as mentioned by Miller of which the presenter has no problem acknowledging half of the time. Only that paganism is not loudly acknowledged as occupying equally the same time period.
Miller is the one who brought this subject to view. He is not subject to Ellen White. Ellen White becomes a false prophet if she contradicts her predecessor. Any prophet who contradicts Moses is a false prophet and neither can we use Elijah to reject the teachings of Moses for Moses came before. Ellen White was not given all the light given to Miller for God had already done that, she confirmed him but never contradicted him.
He saw the time period, and his study proves that everything that was mentioned in Leviticus was fulfilled
