    Many people here didnt like or even consider IK multimedia, which is surprising for me, in this video. QUICK REMINDER: Michael Brauer lately gave up with SSL 9000 analog console to go ITB, he tested all SSL plugins, at the end he' decided to use the Brainworx 4000E on every channel in his template, eheheh. Thats music, thats life. Thanks for the video.

    Im a mix engineer from Greece. Unbelievable difference. What a crazy world the audio world is.Thank you for opening my mind.The old waves and the new one are the only ones that have some interesting story to tell on the top end. It feels to me some kind of compression/distortion/movement going on, I hate the t-racks, the slate super dull and boring, bx console is kind of ok but nothing special going on, way too flat, cleanier but kinda distracting. You need to make more videos like this, exposing bass and top end, you are the only guy that can be trusted. Im interested for saturation and tape emulation. Go hard, let the people to see the truth. xD

      Thank you!
      I just want everyone to be objective and have an open and honest discussion.
      I will continue to do more as I have time.
      They are harder to make than they look LOL.
      Cheers!

      @Versteckt sein Depends on the material. But in general the waves give that high end distorted ssl sound If you need more sparkle from a console. At least is what I hear.

      Where is that SSL analog vs. Digital? Talk the talk...

    • @BlueHouseSoundStudio
      @BlueHouseSoundStudio  3 года назад +1

      Idk where is it?! Why isn’t there one? Plenty of SSLs out there in the world...
      I’m just running to make one, for rude people like yourself.

      @Lyd Far, Idk if it’s just the nature of the internet or language barrier, but thank you for the personable and respectful response..! :) I look forward to making it as soon as I can. Covid hasn’t made it easy for me to make more of the videos I hope to.
      Cheers!

    I prefer the original nasty waves...I have the bx, native ssl, and mixhub but I keep coming back to the bastard. I love the comp and the grit...it's vintage right? :)

    • @BlueHouseSoundStudio
      @BlueHouseSoundStudio  3 года назад +3

      Haha Yes! Waves is the Vintage unit.... Hopefully they "model" it one day. Waves one does have some interesting distortion happening more than all the others.

    Their is some consitency between all but the Slate is really far off. The Waves E and the BX are quite close. Really looking forward to hearing the comparison between all of them and the real EQ. thx

    I have no experience with a real 4000 channel strip. I use the waves all the time. But really like the Mix hub. Sounds a bit smoother than the rest to me.
    Great vid. Thanks..

      erand droory thank you! I’ll be doing a video with my SSL as soon as I can... it’s a shame no one has done one yet but you will find this often with a lot of “real” / original gear ala 1176 , Neve , Etc...

    Amazing video!! Just for fun and making a point for us poor starters, add the Free Logic Channel Plugin at the next video, with the real thing!! It would answer so many doubts I have....

    I likz both CLA & SSL. Prefer CLA as you have some grit possible from mic pre. I also like very much BX E-console, I prefer it over Bx SSL E, especially on high mid (green knob)

    I just did a blind A/B/C (waves, bx E, tracks) D (they did notice bx focusrite but barely) in the studio through Adam monitors....not one musician could tell the difference. Just being honest....no one who listens to music really cares as long as it's good. Cheers
