- Testing out my character's lip sync for future projects. It sure was cringe animating to my own voice. This test gave me a good animation understanding though! Hope you like what you see!

Thank you! Haha, i wasn't expecting them to be banger, i was pleasantly surprised! To be honest i never studied animation, learned tools (blender, other programs) from youtube. Rest is by intuition, observation. Learning anatomy, physics, motion is the key.

You got a very good voice for videos, a very lovely avatar and a gorgeous animation style. You are this kind of animator, where I don't care WHAT you would talk about, it's gonna be good.
I personally would like to see a breakdown, how you actually work out your lip syncing. It would be interesting to see, how you make this happen. I don't think I will need this knowledge, since my show I am working on (and which coincidently also has a fox as main character) goes with the anime-style of animating the mouth in a very general way without being animated to the actual sounds, but I would sure like to see your process. And to understand, what amount of effort is needed to accomplish this.
Thank you for kind words! I really appreciate it! Lip syncing is something that i'm still experimenting. In this video i did poses manually each time, but later on i did craft pose library for mouth. It sounds easy, but to make it believable needs lot of trials and errors. I might share it one day, we'll see

I get it's just a test so it didn't have to be super high fidelity, but I found it a little distracting how his lower body is locked in place compared to how lively the rest of his body is animated.
Thank you for praise and very useful feedback! It's true that i didn't bother animating lower body since it's not seen. I'll keep that in mind for future projects :D

Btw the mouth closes a bit fast sometimes. Hard to match that and know no way to do it tho :( might be a tool that makes it easier to check if too fast or slow, but damn that's hard regardless
Thank you for enjoying it and for your feedback. Yeah i'm not used to do lip sync animations, most of my works are done with body language and emotions. Need more practice. I wish there were a tool that tells you what sounds are matching and which ones are not. Maybe it wont be work of art if that tool existed though...
