I enjoy making animated videos. I think that's pretty much it.
Guilmon's Ordinary Day
This is how i imagine Guilmon spends his day when nothing interesting happens. To make it more interesting i wanted to stay close to the source material.
I always wondered how much work and time it would take me to make a very short animated film with 1 character. Now i got my clear answer... A Lot! I missed my deadline multiple times, had some artistic struggles to solve various stuff. This work is not perfect, it has a lot of flaws and mistakes. I could've spend even more time polishing every frame, but i would definitely get bored and burned out. I'm glad with this result.
If you read this description then thanks a lot! I think i'll be taking rest from this type of video for a while......

3D Grass test

The other day I was learning to make cool, toon shaded grass in blender for my next video. It turned out ok, so i wanted to see how it looked together with Guilmon and Renamon. Plain T-pose was boring so i started experimenting with different sitting poses. Poses turned out really good so i kept going untill i noticed that i got too much into it. So this is my grass test i guess?

Thanks to your suggestions i made my Renamon's eye more dynamic. Spheres with inverted normals method worked best. I wanted to show result in just very short gif with default A-pose. But it looked booring to me, so i tried various poses and thought why not just connect them and just make a veeeery short animation. Tested out "spline" style animation also. Oh and that short line on top of her ey...

Lip sync test

Testing out my character's lip sync for future projects. It sure was cringe animating to my own voice. This test gave me a good animation understanding though! Hope you like what you see! #animation #furry

I feel like the only thing you "got wrong" was her hands, I always felt that she had three digits that ware evenly spaced and dexterous not two fingers and a thumb.. though she did always grasp things as if that was the case hehe my reasons for this being the way her "hand" looks when punching or when her digits are spread as she dose her diamond storm in the show. but that's just my thoughts hehe your work is awesome man.
Thank you! Hands were hard to do for sure, but i think what i did kind of makes the job easier for animation and overall readability
