Discovered this song during one of darkest states of mind while driving at night, mind overwhelmed, hopeless. Then this randomly starts playing as i had my apple music or whatever just playing songs based on others i liked. And BAM, my mind was obliterated and I forgot everything i was sad or worried about. However, it still keeps the youthful and energetic vibe of regular pop music. Making it the new and improved version of pop. This is where the Juul comes into play. Juul's are often known as e-cigarettes (e meaning electronic based). As they are an alternative to cigarettes. It has been found that they are just as/even more addicting than regular cigarettes. Tying back to hyper pop/electro pop. Both the Juul and hyper-pop highlight the fact that we are stepping into a new world. Highly digital but still undeniably natural. I hope I said this right. Im going to state this, Sophie music is not everyone taste, Personally this kinda music (Ponyboy) is not for me, However as a sound artist myself I am really impressed with all the instrument she created to get a sound out of a synths or drums. She an experimental artist so like mr oizo or fedz. It not alway perfect but however she showed us an interesting way to morph or create a weird sounding synth. My favourite songs of her is Elle, Lemonade, MmmNnnn.
She should be respected as an artist and as a person as we are all human all along.

I've been listening this song with my gf since summer of 2020 sooo many times and like every 6 or 7 months we notice little changes in it, like some pitches or effects have changed. The structure still always the same, but some voices, or instrumentals feel different. Doesn't matter the dispositive or if it's the RUclips song or not. We even tried to listen covers and all change in the same time like if it's a Matrix bug, we're the only ones?
That’s the influence of Autechre (one of her influences about which she was most vocal) - tons of shifting detail leading to infinite relistenability. I’ve been listening to them for two decades and I still find new sounds and qualities in their tracks. Definitely worth a listen if ur not faint of heart.

So I saw this and immediately went to see new track from SOPHIE. When I was listening to it there was literally an earthquake in my country. It was a small Earthquake, but I've never experience one. the minute I heard the beat I thought of MC Ride
SOPHIE was an artist I found at the tail end of 2017. She completely changed my mind on music and showed me how beautiful, abstract and breathtaking music can be. This track was my introduction into a deeper understanding and appreciation to music for me, and I will always owe that to SOPHIE XEON. Rest in peace queen.
