Which multimeter would I recommend? Any without "auto" and negative LCD, with at least few current ranges, 10A 200mA 200uA, diode test voltage 3V, supply 2x AA batteries, temperature function if you don't have another meter with thermocouple already. You can find chinese 19999 counts DMM for $24-27 or 5999 counts for $15. But keep in mind these meters have only simplest input protection and not highest mechanical quality.

@@TuMundoAndroideMania Do you mean a backlight in V1.6? It is turning off after 1 minute, bit annoying. Both versions uses OTP chips, you can't change firmware, but you can slightly modify it by editing eeprom. I don't know how to edit anything in V1.6 SD7502, because lack of documentation. V1.3 uses some clone of HY12S65/DTM0660.

So as it is a clone do you think this multimeter does not work after a year? I see that the weather thermometer is wrong is rare this multimeter
IT IS AUTOMATIC WITH A FUSE ....CASE CLOSE ANTI OVERLOAD....GREAT METER......STUPID WAY TO COMPARE...USE BATTERIES...AC TESTING...LEDS..VARISTORS...RESISTORS..CAPACITORS..DIODES..NCV.....COME ON DUDE.
I wanted to show something unique in the shortest video and don't copy what other channels already showed. Meter of course measures what it's supposed to measure, within it's declared accuracy (about 1%). More about ranges you can read in the description. Even instruction says you shouldn't trust NCV and LIVE, and that's true. It's too sensitive in my case, and very easy to trigger false positive readings.
@@adskiy_stolyar It depends. My meter detects a live wire from a distance of 30 cm in some cases. How you want to determine which cable has no power if you have many of them laid next to each other. Finding a wire in the wall is also impossible, error +-50cm.

Путем подбора толщины препятствия можно добиться оптимальной чувствительности для каждой ситуации , также это "препятствие" можно приклеить изо-лентой или скотчем для удобства . Данная функция не для того , чтобы узнать на каком кабеле из жгута кабелей есть напряжение ( для этого есть функция " Live " , использующая красный щуп ) , а для того , чтобы в принципе узнать расположение кабеля в пространстве . Если у Вас возникнут трудности при регулировке чувствительности сенсора , могу сделать для Вас пояснительное видео .😀

SZ02 behaves identically even at 30V.
Could you measure the current, I think I have v1.6 and I think the reading changes compared to v1.3
Both have only one range, 9999mA (V1.6 9.999A = same). V1.6 is extremely slow when reading currents below 100mA, 8 seconds to stabilise.

I discovered a hidden function that works in the meter with PCB V1.6. Which saves time and relay clicking. I didn't show it in the video.
