A few notes from running pug groups. A. melee with movement options IE: SAM can gap close to Titania to maintain up time and make it a little easier to pass the overall DPS test. B. You can stack in center and just absorb one frost rune both times to maintain up time as much as possible. A minor note, if you're using melee LB, you can get an lb 3 and 2 if you hit the moment she comes back from her add phase. Play it safe and waiting till during mist rune resolve you only get an lb 3 and 1. A few things to note for groups who might be struggling to pass the DPS checks.
For me... the easiest way to tell Phantom Rune... What color does the Arena flash. Purple is get out, Gold is get in. Plus as a secondary, if the staff is swirling about, get in, if not, get out. The wings can be harder to notice, I feel.
the point of saying anything about the wings is because the purple flash is barely slow enough to give ppl time to move before the attack lands and if you see the flash of gold and youre not where you have to be, chances are youre dying. howver, using the wings and staff as a visual tell will gives you more than plenty enough time to figure it out. look in the video. where's the gold flash? the purple flash is spottable but it happens like *flash* then the aoe circle shows up AND it goes off. unless you run exactly when the purple flashes, you might not make it.
@@TripLxChaos I've been using the Gold/Purple since I started farming, and I find it very reliable to never fail. It pretty much flashes right at the start of the move, and most importantly, if you hear her say "Can you Guess Which One?" that should cue you in to watch for something. Also, it also helps to hang around medium range the whole fight rather than do one extreme or the other. I play Red Mage, so I can constantly bouncing around into terrible terrible locations.

Frost Runr can actually be entirely ignored. Stack the party in the middle circle and heal/mitigate through it for Max DPS uptime, especially if you have mostly Melee DPS. A Scholar can solo heal/mitigate this strat using seraph's shield along with any other heal. A spread Critlo or a succor at the very least is recommended for the immediate damage aoe markers that follow after Frost Rune. You'll get a vuln stack but it's inconsequential.
I've started doing this, I sometimes mess up trying to avoid all of the hits and get whacked by two, but I know I can live one so I just park myself in the middle and keep casting.
A lot of raid groups are having DPS go north for the big add phase knock back for more up time and tanks/healers go south. DPS will always be hitting something and this strat will help if you are having issues with the DPS check.
Which is entirely unnecessary. Worst case scenario with DPS south, you lose a single gcd. If your group is dying because they cant keep enough damage for adds, then you won't make enrage anyway. The DPS North strategy is only useful for padding/speedrunning.

Also my personal strat for telling Phantom Rune's cast, if she releases a cloud of red powder around her you go out, if she has the circle above her and a windy circle below her you go in. Also also worth noting, for whatever reason her enrage cast is somewhat random in terms of if she'll cast a normal bright sabbath first then the enrage version, normal bright sabbath then divination rune then enrage, or just casts the enrage version right after the double phantom rune. It is probably how much you managed to damage her before the ad phase but from other accounts I hear it is just random.

You don’t necessarily “need” the food though.
I usually see the tanks pop it for extra vit but rarely dps using it anymore in farm groups or other.
Mostly depends on how many mistakes are made than whether or not you ate first.
What are your thoughts on dps north so there aren't huge dps downtimes during add phase? Feel like everyone is just going with hi_i'm_fox's strat without even thinking about it
YAY FINALLY
How do you transfer the tether? This wasn't addressed.
Just walk into it. And make sure you decide who takes it when and how many tethers the tank takes. The OT is the first one to take it.
Anyone else watching these guides post dia and thinking extremes used to be so much simpler lol
THIS COUNTS AS SIMPLE?
@@kixmix2450 yea titania is the 2nd easiest shb trial behind innocence. Fights get Alot harder after. Without spoilers the fight SOS is about as hard as an easy savage fight and is the hardest trial in the game imo. Don't get discouraged tho the harder fights are so much fun and progging them feels rewarding.
watching this in DT trying to solo it and agreeing massively =p
Surprised how similar this is to the normal version.
mt shouldnt take any hits from thunder rune?
Drop rate of mount is hot garbage. In my 64 clears it only dropped once. WTF.
to be fair, the mount drop rate has always been garbage. i got so frustrated with ponies i stopped farming for a year and a half, and got most of my birds in that time :P
I was wondering if anyone here can help me, I finished the sb ms, talked to the wandering mistral and unlocked the 3 ex trials, but there nowhere to be seen in my duty finder, I cant access them but i unlocked them, I've unlocked Eden no problem but these ones aren't showing up, is this a bug?
@Warriorkiller666 oh, I've never seen that, I've been playing for years and didnt no, it seems kind of silly to make a new tab just for the new stuff
I want to do Titania EX because I want her dancer weapons but my tiny brain just cannot understand what it is seeing XD
This game is fucking ridiculous
Did I hear a Berserk reference?!
You should change the guide to just have both tanks eat 3 tethers with invul and just use their 120 cd for fae light. Simplifies it and you dont have everyone wearing an icon.
@@D-Havoc hindsight
best guides xD
do tanks still pick up the big versions of the adds or do they just do whatever
they wanna grab aggro still, but they should be helping dps down the eastern add as well as stacking to help soak the aoe damage
