Adam should realize that when it came to Victor Nikki was very insecure and very territorial, even when they weren't together Nikki would get upset when Victor was with another Woman. Remember how she crashed Victor & Hope's Wedding. Also she knew that Nicholas and Victoria would never "accept" Adam as their Brother.
Adam may have done a lot of bad things , but the fact is Victor even ask Hope to abort him before he was even born , because he may inherit the blindness gene from Hope , and the first time Victoria met Adam , she told him ( she was kind even nice ) , but she said something like back then it was a dark time , and the family never look back . Seeing how Victor's father Albert made his mother Cora give him away you would think Victor would realize he did the same thing to Adam. Yes, Hope left GC and didn't want Victor near Adam. But Hope also lied by marrying Cliff Wilson and making Adam believe Cliff was his father. Adam Wilson was not who he was. He is Adam Newman and Hope knew that. She lied and Victor didn't fight for him. Both Hope and Victor failed Adam as parents.
I wish Adam could have met Albert before he died. He would have gotten to see that Victor Father did'nt care about him either. Cora the one that put him in an orphanage. I'm guessing she was too poor to take care of two kids. When you think about it Matt probably would the had an easier time being adoptive since he was younger but I'm sure Cora didn't think of that and chose to give Victor up. Adam was never in an orphanage but Victor did choose to abandon him. At least Adam actually cares about his kid and don't just say.
To be fair, both as Adam and Chelsea both forfeited their parental rights to Christian and Johnny, respectively. So the answer to that would be a mix of ‘yes’ and ‘no’
