    Car looks much better in black. Plenty of pavement fun good job.

    Well, the finished car looks amazing! I have to admit that I was a bit skeptical when you mentioned you were going to repaint it. It looks great in black. I've picked up one of those vintage Monogram 1/8th scale model Vettes (the '82 Collector Edition) that I'm planning to remake into a proper RC. Doing it your way seems so much simpler. Also, I own a 1:1 '09 Mustang GT 5-speed (the only Ford I've ever owned) and I love the car. It has aftermarket exhaust; that V8 sounds incredible. Great video, as always. Cheers!

    Good, creative project!!
    Hey, I've actually got a Top tip for you...
    When dealing with Hot Glue - simply drip some Denatured Alcohol over the Parts, and within 10 seconds - the Glue CLEANLY separates, with no damage to either Bit!! 😳😉
    (Unless possibly, one of the Parts was painted with Acrylic Paint)
    It just easily releases the bond. Try it on scrap bits... See how it works! 😉

      You are right, that Steering is a bit poor...
      With your high level of skill, you could easily make a long enough Servo Horn - that doesn't interfere with anything underneath. 😉

    I would do the same, I got one like it (same chassis different brand name) n it fits perfect on my tt-02 chassis

    • @michaelramsey82
      @michaelramsey82 2 года назад

      What brand name is yours? This chassis is much smaller than a TT-02.

  • @screeny30
    @screeny30 5 лет назад +1

    are there any stronger motors in that size? apart from the steering, a "big" motor would be very scale :D
    nice conversion - I really like it

    • @RCWithPopeye
      @RCWithPopeye 5 лет назад +2

      Exactly. I thing you can get powerful nerf gun motors of the same size

    I read this on a forum. have you tried spraying a light dust of Plastic Weld on ABS bodies to make them tacky ready for paint.. Very light mist and do not touch it.

    • @RCMojoTV

      An interesting thought, I can imagine it'll make the surface a bit rough if left to dry. Getting it even so it doesn't pool might be a bit tricky though

    @rcmojotv hi, I have the same model, but the newer one in blue. Can you show how to disassemble the rear wheels? I want to make it drift so I can not open the engine house. I don’t know howto and I don’t want to break my model.
    Best Regards😊🙏

    Aside from the cosmetics and ok, the battery, what's the point of all this? Is it faster now, does it steer better, you didn't even show it in action?

      If you're a bit mechanically minded the price of entry is comfortably under £200 now. Once you get going the time saved compared with hand cutting and carving more than makes up for the cost.
