Oh yeah!! My lake placid blue cyclone arrived today!!!
Life is complete!
Glad you enjoyed your visit to the Roland Store. You’re always welcome to come back so I can put you off some more.
My pick of the week is : lost time in a guitar store . Time is valuable, time lost in a music store is priceless!
Oh hell yes
Ive got a scoop fou u Get an Aria Pro2 Jet1 for $299 add locking tuners and a $30 Wilkinson import spaced big steel block w bent steel saddle vintage trem and enjoy the rolled rosewood edges med fretwire on a smaller c shaped strat neck but with a 24.75 scale my friend!
Oh wow, these look pretty dang good. Do you own one?
Never made it to the guitar stores in London. I went to museums because I’m a geek and a nerd 🎉
The B&G Little Sister looks great!
The clock change for digital samples simply makes samples play back at a higher or lower speed (timestretch, if you will).
It goes well with the bitcrushing effects as when you get a sample and REALLY stretch out the time you really start to notice the granularity of it and thus sounds really lo-fi.
Thank you !
Pretty sure I've seen the Ruby Se 24 at my local shop... pretty nice, but I already have the quilt top turquiose one...and it's stellar.❤
Those mooers look really good for the price
Yes!! I strongly approve of your Pick Of The Week! I always wanted the Graffiti Yellow Cyclone from the early 2000s. 😍
Oh man! Now you are talking!!! I’d pick up a squier version in a second
This was such a refreshing watch! Hope you and yours had a good time in merry old London.
thanks mate! I had a ball!!!
Fender Japan 😎
Absolutely
Ayyyy. I saw you filming in Seven Dials 👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
Oh cool! Next time, please come say hi!
Andy's PICK OF THE WEEK!!
Always love this segment.
I'm rewatching to see if I missed #5...
But I now realize that you only found 4 things worth chatting about this week.
no number 5 this week. I only pick stuff that genuinely excites me and gets released by the time i film the show. The coming week has plenty!
@@TheGuitarGeek- You do you. It is much better to do what you want and enjoy it than to struggle to find stuff you think “will do”, but then you start dreading making the videos.
I know that when I was a tour guide in Argentina that I always liked giving the “Off The Beaten Path” tours the most, because I got to show the things that I thought were randomly mind-blowing.
Keep doing the fun $#!+ !! 👍👍
WAKE UP THE GUITAR GEEK POSTED. I LOVE WATCHING YOUR VIDEOS ON MY BREAK🔥🔥
Enjoy that break!
Cant wait! Lets get right into it!🎉
LFG
Look at you being famous in London! Also, I'll be visiting, so might show up at that store very soon! Muahaha this was quite an entertaining episode! Thank you Andy!
Thanks V! I would totally recommend the Roland Store, I wish i'd had more time there.
Hey I went to that same BOSS Roland store when I went to London this past fall!! I met Matt on his second day working there (at least I’m pretty sure it was Matt) ^^
Haha. It may have been me. I started last May. Hope you still enjoyed your visit.
The Fender Japan Cyclone has a 42mm nut, which makes it one of the only ways to get that scale length and nut width with a flat neck pitch (i.e. neck angle). I would go for one, were it not dangerously close to the cost of a Warmoth body and neck to achieve those specs with a different body shape. I should mention that the Chapman Guitars Pegasus also meets this spec, albeit with a hardtail, and it costs US$1,500 (which put me right off it).
I’m glad not just bass players are feeling the pain I’ve felt for over a year now.
👋 Hello, fellow Michigander.
I'd have a Cyclone in Lake Placid Blue any day over any PRS.
I was at the Harry Potter Studios last week. Absolutely loved it!
As far as I know, all Cyclones are 24.75 scale. I love my Squier Cyclone. If I could make a signature model it would be a Cyclone with a jazzmaster bridge pickup, jaguar neck pickup.
I am looking forward to a review on the Mooer msc 20 pro.
When you did the scouse accent you sounded like Michael Caine, which made me chuckle because I immediately remembered the associated meme.
Dude, the HB ST moderns are out now!!!!!
Yeah they are!
Never been to London I’d love to visit though.
Japanese quality is still the best, own 2 japan made fender strats and more recently an Ibanez japan made rg550 genesis like your yellow you reviewed a while back. The rg fit and finish beautiful.
I’ve never bonded with the pickups on PRS guitars
I love your smiling face, you are so clean and radiant that you could advertise for a laundry detergent brand!
Oh thank you!
I live in Japan. Let me know if you want one.
900 usd for a Japanese cyclone with an alder body is a great price in todays market. I’d say go for it!
Popularity is a curse! 😛
What happened to the new Custom PRS?
Fukinham-Palace ?
ANDYSPICKOFTHEWEEK!!!
Hello, From the StateS. Thanks For Sharing 🧠🎸 🎶 🎶 🎶 🎶 🎶 🎶 🎶 🎶 🎶 🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶✌️
I never expect much from London.
Isn't that Cyclone just the same as a Duo Sonic?
Cyclones have always been 24 3/4" Gibson scale. Modern day Duo Sonics as well as Mustangs are 24".
Also the Japan Cyclones have a strat trem bridge.
I cant get past the PRS neck joint and I dont like the bird inlays...just not my gig
Never buying another new guitar that doesn't have stainless steel frets...!!!😉👍
I refuse to spend anymore money on fretwork...!!!😁
Hope all manufacturers of guitars are listening...!!!🤞🤞
They collect headstocks off broken Gibsons like hunters collect heads.
Exactly what I was thinking. Like 14 pt bucks on the wall. 🦌
Someone tell fender we need an affordable H-S Cyclone. MIJ is too much for us peasants and 😭
A Squier Cyclone would sell out for sure
Squier cyclones do exist. They go for about $600 Canadian. @@TheGuitarGeek
@TheGuitarGeek they have a parallel dimension Squier, but it's S-S-S. But I guess that's the point. I've seen Brian Molko playing some original Cyclones live. Would be cool to seen a signature model for Brian. Placebo are definitely big enough to justify it
MIJ is the best you can get price-wise, it's significantly cheaper then US, and just slight above Mexico. With a better quality than both. Save up a bit, you you'll be satisfied.
Actually, it might be cheaper than Mexican Fender too. Vintera II is crazy expensive now. And you can take advantage of weak yen today.
sorry to be that guy but-
1:04: "Twiddling the knobs,"
Oh my god, he's loose in the UK. We're fucked.
😂😂😂😂
Fender Japan doesn't get "all" the cool stuff. We got the American Professional II thinlines, for instance.
Anyways, I love that Fender releases guitars in the Gibson scale length, and sometimes that flat 12" radius. But when is Gibson going to reach out with a 25.5", alder body, 9.5" radius, single coil SG?? Make an inline, durable headstock, you cowards!
How have i never noticed your lack of a lip piercing
Mooer is pronounced "More"?? Well, I have learned something today. Not that it's all that useful for me to know.
First!
Second!!!
Maybe I’m alone, but I hate a matching headstock. Looks cheap, unoriginal, and inauthentic.
