It sounds like the installer wants you to get more bass although those subs are beefy AF he did a top notch build back there with the space he had to work with

have you had any problems running them with the 1200 amp i’ve seen some videos where people say the 700 rms is over rated

I have 1 8in memphis mojo same style and it handles 1000 watts no problem and I like my music loud af lol
@ 4 33....my 02 gmc sierra 2500 hd Crew Cab here has the same rear seat's as u but a bit differant factory covering on the rear seat's.....ANY WHOOO so how did u get the very back part of the seat to fold down so easy like........... what's the hidden part pr what not & on what side of the rear seat is it as well........ & what in the world is that big long black box.........??? & what all is in it.....

Part of your quality of bass is do to the fact that it's a ported box. I've have both a sealed and ported box. The ported box really makes a big difference in how subs hit and sound
With these subs, yes, because they have a low QTS.
I have the same box with mini mojo 6.5 subs 1 ohm what amp can pair with the set up.
I have a 2005 duramax and wanna upgrade my speakers and maybe add some subs and an amp considering like all my speakers are either blown or about 6 songs away from it! I also live in Ohio and was wondering how much this cost to do and how long it would take?

Two 12s it’s impossible it’s all about cone area. Also pr speakers are the entry level Memphis. I have their old school mclass msq witch are awesome.

You're close. It's all about displacement which is excursion and cone area. Then you have power compression and FS as minor factors.
my one 8 mojo hits better than most 12s so gotta say I didn't think so until I heard it myself but there no joke great subs u gotta hear some yourself and bet you will change your mind quick lol
@@jeremysmith4393 I believe you as I have one as well. They have nice displacement due to the long Xmax.
Xmax on a high end 8 will move more air than the average 12 all day long bud

Like this guys may know his stuff but either he doesn’t like to talk about it or he basically just does what he is told but doesn’t know why. Seriously I hope you have more info then what this video gives. I’m sorry I’m a fan but seriously this is your Audio guy? I grew up around car audio and own a lbz duramax and I’m a huge Memphis fan and I Ben looking at doing the mojo 6.5 but this video makes the audio system
Look like a joke and the installer only knows what he has read online and doesn’t know why they do things.
