He even did it one time with a mic that was broken and the crowd could still hear him. If you get a chance I recomend seeing this one. The live performances for all the groups on Kingdom were so good

The thing about Ateez is that actually the majority of their songs/music videos are connected in a long fictional storyline. I’ve heard that the physical album contain books covering the story for that episode. With Ateez, each album is one episode of their story and is labeled with a chapter name and episode number. (Usually). 2-4 episodes make up one chapter with a common theme, then they enter a new chapter with a new story arc, and like with some anime you usually don’t need too much background information from the previous chapter to understand what is happening in the current chapter despite the fact that there is a lot of complex world building that involves traveling between dimensions and through time and even meeting alternate versions of themselves in another dimension.
Everyone is recommending you watch their live version of Wonderland on Kingdom, but personally I recommend when they performed it for the 2019 MAMA awards! The breakdown is so good, and it's a mashup with 3 other songs from different groups and Jongho has an incredible vocal moment. This song, for all intents and purposes should NOT work. There's almost nothing in the instrumental to give even the foggiest indication of what the melody should be...The beat and melody changes are so wild and should seem to be jarring, but they're smooth.... and yet not. And it WORKS BRILLIANTLY! This song is such a weird conundrum to me as a student of film score composition.
