So she stuck up for the rights of the Cake Shop owners to refuse to bake a Wedding Cake for a Gay Couple, but when she's refused service, she throws a tantrum? *No Sarah. You have it both ways. You don't get to pick and choose what Rights to support your Agenda* .
The fact that she tries to say she treated people with respect is laughable. A reporter asks her a question and she talks him down saying he can't understand more than a word. Her children should disown her for being such an embarrassment.
So, let me get this straight: you can refuse to serve customers based on your religious believes, but if you do it for moral reasons, you get attacked for it? USA, you're weird.
I'd point out that the restaurant should probably not have discriminated on the basis of political opinion if it wanted to look entirely fair, but the GOP's last redistricting operation effectively sought to disenfranchise voters based on which political party they supported by gerrymandering, so nevermind.
I'd still not consider "moral reasons" to be part of a political view. If something's morally incorect, it's morally incorect, no matter what parties/people you support.
Yeah, the Supreme Court just ruled that anyone can deny gay people services because of "religious beliefs." You could always deny service based on political beliefs. Most businesses won't do it, but it has always been legal to do so.
Funny, #45 mentioned how filthy that restaurant was, then how come S.H. Sanders went there to eat with her family in the first place? Shouln't we say that this restaurant will never be as dirty as #45's tongue... now, shouldn't we?
"What do you mean you treat everyone with respect? You work for Donald Trump, you don't even treat yourself with respect." Thank you for saying it, Colbert. 👊
You could just serve her an empty plate and claim the chef says there's food on it. When she says there isn't, just respond by saying that is alternative facts.
Here's what I would have done: -Come out 25 minutes late with the order. -1 Cheeto on each plate. - "No this order was VERY fast. You've got your facts wrong." - "In sorry this IS what you ordered." - "Maybe you have trouble understanding simple sentences, Sarah: This IS what you ordered." - "I haven't discussed it with the chef, I'll have to get back to you on that. Good night everyone, thank you.' -Walk away with a shit eating grin.
"I think the only problem with this order is that you can't understand how a single cheeto makes america great. americans overwhelmingly voted for a single cheeto and if you can't see that, it's bc you're a sore loser from 2016."
If I was working for Trump administration, I wouldn't be eating at anywhere where you can't watch the entire process of them preparing your food. I mean who knows what could be in your food?
@Alexandre Let's see who will be reeducating whom in the end. All your wars are lost in the end, all your leaders end up hanging upside down from lamp posts.
Republicans on cake bakers being allowed to deny service to gay people: Yeah! I support that! Republicans on a member of the Trump administration being denied service: How dare they!? That's persecution! And the irony flies right over their heads..
MLZ well, ones a religious view and conviction, the other is just childish discrimination over a political opinion. One is legally protected, one is not, pretty simple.
Michael Oh I think we'll find all sortsa creative ways to spin this on the left as well until the Supreme Court finally stops delaying this stupid issue and forces businesses to serve EVERYONE equally. Progressives are very good at this sort of thing. Conservatives aren't nearly as creative, that's literally what they are about, old outdated beliefs set in stone.
Correct: Gays are a protected class so denying business based on that is illegal. Political opinion is not a protected class in Virginia (only in D.C.), so denying service based on that is legal.
Tor Iver Wilhelmsen gays are not a protected class, its just a sexual orientation. Religion is legally protected as per the cases outcome. Waste of time and money honestly.
She is right of course, to say " this says more about her (the restaurant owner) than me" , the owner appears to have the strength of her beliefs and the respect of her staff.
She says she left respectfully but she just doxxed the restaurant to Trump supporters so they got review bombed and death threats, good job turning the other cheek Sarah.
While I'm on the restaurant's side in this...it's a RESTAURANT. You can't "doxx" a restaurant, hell, they'd almost certainly rather get the public notice as free advertising. They might lose some customers from this action, but they will also gain customers who support them, and either way, they have more attention.
The owner gathered a crowd and followed Sanders family across the street where they went to eat, and screamed at them after the family politely left the Red Hen. Verified by the owner of the restaurant they went to. So you were saying?
sources, please? It makes zero sense that the owner would call her aside and speak to her privately, so as not to embarrass her, then turn around and run across the street to scream and harass them. This wild story of yours makes me laugh. In this day and age, if there's no video, it didn't happen.
Wow America is in trouble. When a republican being separated from her supper IS BIGGER than parents being separated from their kids, you know you are in trouble.
I am not sure if kicking her out is the right thing to do. But at least it puts her in the shoes of those who are getting discriminated more due to this administration rhetoric.
The problem is, they don't think of it that way. They immediately become the victims and rile up their base. They don't think about What it must be like for the young mother of two who just made the long dangerous 2000 mile journey across central America and into Mexico just to get to our border to seek asylum only to be arrested and have her children taken from her. No they think about themselves only. And blame everything on the democrats.
She wasn't "kicked out" ...she was told that she wasn't going to be served then she "tweetted" TrumpPutin asking him for the nearest McDonald's and he said "Sarah" come home !!!!....I have the "Golden Arches" in the Lincoln bedroom !
Young God "hey buddy, im just gonna show up at your house even though i hate your kind due to an irrational reason and want you to do stuff for me, oh by the way I still hate you" mhmmm real tolerant
How is being gay and forcing children away from their parents equivalent? Shoe is not on the other foot, why should criminals against humanity be pitied?
This kind of protest is non-violent but extremely effective. Marches and street protests are all good, but very easy for those who actually are walking the halls of power to just ignore and actually be glad we are keeping each other busy. Making them have to deal with direct discomfort that isn't harmful but is humiliating will make them consider what life will be like for them if they continue to stand with corruption and unconstitutional actions. Be polite but refuse to enable.
Related to the "glass ceiling", I heard of a concept called the "glass cliff". It says that women are more likely to be placed in positions of power if said position is associated with some level of trouble. For example, if a company was doing badly under a male CEO who was to be replaced, it was more likely that the male CEO would be replaced with a woman, but if a company was doing well, the replacement CEO would likely be a man.
Just designate a special place for the Trump administration-people to eat: No furniture, on the concrete floor - and, of course, all within a cage with 24/7 video surveillance. If it gets too cold, restaurant owners may hand out mylar blankets as a gracious gesture.
Waitress to Sarah: "I'm sorry Ma'am, we just ran out of what you ordered."Sarah: "Well, OK, I'll have ________________."Waitress: "Let me check with the chef. ... No, sorry, served the last portions of that just a minute ago."Sarah: "Let me try your _____________."Waitress (after a 10-minute trip to the kitchen): "You won't believe thia, Ma'am, but we're out of that, too."etc., etc. etc. 'til Sarah leaves
They actually did not. Completely different decision based on whether the courts have to treat religious beliefs well. The case is returning. I hope they realize next time that wedding cakes do not equal propaganda cakes. I actually don't get super excited about a guy being gay. It sounds like discrimination to me. Courthouses don't marry spouse swappers as such. It seems like a big deal that you can marry a man or a woman and the state accepts this. They should probably make discrimination against gays on this point illegal.
@notmadheadthingsinhell "I actually don't get super excited" does not sound like a sound basis for legal argumentation, not even for arguing whether something is 'discrimination' or not.
Yes, isnt Huckleberry the paragon of politeness, respect, and gracious communication when she is dealing with the journalists? And that gentle expression she wears all the time like she were always smelling poo poo. She tells one reporter that she knows how hard it is for him to understand short sentences. She is a snarky, angry, condescending rot, and works for the same kind of person, the orange menace, rump, also an example of elegance and gentleness personified. Both lie shamelessly and we should all be mad as anything.
That may be true, Ollie, and I hope it is, but the article that said that also ID'd a restaurant of the same name in DC. So call anyway, Anna, and tell them Stephen Colbert sent you.
You have the *right* to deny survice to anyone for any reason, doesnt matter if they are gay white black Republican or Democrat. Its sad when that right is infringed, and sad people think they can sue over it, and even sadder when they win...
Considering the current lies on a daily basis and is doing everything they can to take away our basic human rights I feel this was appropriate to finally send a message that it was meant to. Thank you to the owner and staff of the Red Hen!!
Sarah lied when she said she treats people respectfully. She is always insulting reporters in the White House press briefing. Remember when she told a reporter that he couldn't understand simple questions? That was kind of insulting wasn't it.
If I were her, I would be far more worried if a restaurant invited her in with open arms, a big, big smile, and offered a complimentary order of anything made 'Just for you!'
How is that different from segregation? Yes, I know, that's an extreme. When we set rules we have to assume the people following them are willing to take it to the extreme. If we say restaurants can refuse service for political reasons, what's stopping minorities from being kicked out? Imagine you agreed with her (or pretend she's someone you agree with), then how would you feel about her being denied service?
I completely agree the resturaunt legally can refuse service to Sanders and that is the way it should be. However, that means that I should be able to refuse service to a muslim customer because I don't like what they stand for. That being said while they legally can refuse service to Sanders the law doesn't protect against other patrons not using their service in support of Sanders. Also, this story probably never would have been told if not for on of the staff posting on facebook "'I just served Sarah Huckabee Sanders for a total of 2 minutes before my owner kicked her out along with 7 of her other family members"
Honestly... Asking her to leave was best case scenario. Ever hear the saying "don't piss off the people that handle your food"? It's a saying for a reason.
gotcha bitch: Now I am confused...on the one hand, I suppose, working at McDonalds is the only job someone like you would be able to get...on the other hand - going by all your comments here - I imagined you to be unemployed. Hmmm...
gotcha bitch lol.. I don't know what's funnier. The fact that your job qualification is unsurprisingly for McDonald's, or that you think actively pissing in one McDonald's somehow contaminates all McDonald's food. That and I said nothing even politically biased, just that it was probably a good thing she didn't get served at a place where everyone actively hated her considering what cooks and waiters/waitresses do to food if they don't like the customer. I know because I've cooked in many a restaurants. Ahh, the people who clamored for change but didn't realize they could get short-changed. So cute. And sorry, I'm no "commie bastard", I'm not Donald Trump, I don't work with any Russians.
I'm a conservative and I personally believe the owner of the Red Hen is justified to do whatever they please, it's their business. They can refuse service to whoever they want.
How nice is it that she could actually go out with her children ... But thousand of parents in these concentration camps that Donald Trump has made can't even see their children. Karma is coming
And now we see the chorus of intentionally dense Trump supporters saying it's just the same as under Obama. Trump started a zero-tolerance policy this year that means that all illegals are arrested and not handled under civil law. That's different. Do you know that word, "different". It means not the same. So the children are taken away for the immigrants who were arrested. The same immigrants who would not have been arrested under Obama. If that bothers you, say so, but don't try to sell everyone this line of bull that nothing is different because everyone can see that it is different. Trump has decided to arrest everyone, which means taking their children away and you're OK with that. Just say what you mean and quit lying to everyone. Hey! That makes you just like Sarah Sanders. You must be so proud.
@@i_strawberri_judi9225 it's discusting that you are down with the Anti-Christ president. He separated kids on a racial basis from their parents AND put them in a concentration camp.
It’s not about agree with or disagree with. It’s what she does that bothers people and she does awful things daily. What did she say about the Supreme Court decision to allow that baker not to serve that couple because they’re gay? I think she was in favour, right? Well, zero sympathy then. And that’s just the start!...
i would love to see sander takes her own medicine. like for example: where is my order? (Waiter: I am not gonna comment on that). Why is that table got served already when we got here first. insert random word here (Waiter: Ma'am if you could just have shut up and let me finish serving the table. i would have deliver your food by then, it was the republicans who was resisting the completion of order, they are failing the people and lots of people are not eating at this restaurant because of them. really terrible people "whilst republicans have nothing to do in the process of cooking and serving"). why is our order taking so long? (Waiter: uhm, i have not talk to the chef about it, once we have talk, maybe we would follow you up on that.)
The restaurant owner had all the right in the world to ask her to leave. She on the other hand used her position in the government to try and publicly damage the restaurant's and the owners reputation. Isn't that like, kind of illegal in some way?
It is at the very least immoral, but that is just the very heart of the matter isn't it? And her actions justifies the restaurant's decision to kick her out.
Carl. J : Yes, it actually IS illegal to use a government platform to comment on a private business. She could have used a personal Twitter account, but chose not to.
It is gross violation of ethic rules and should be investigated and she should be punished as well as Trump as he also used his office to criticize a private business on several occasions. Breaking ethical rules however seems not to bother this WH or their cult following or even the Congress.
"Do onto others, as you would have them do unto you." "Turnabout is fair play" "What's good for the goose, is good for the gander." .. and so on, and so on...
Ifihada Hammer The bakery guy did not deny service to the pair of gays, he denied a specific item, and that, is a complete different deal. Those two gays had been his customer for awhile and the owner RESPECTED their lifestyle, but the two gays did not respected the owner's religions belief and/or decision and DEMANDED to be served. It is not like the owner had told them that he was going to make the cake, take the order and later told them he changes his mind. The deal with Sara is not about protected class, is about decency, civility and respect. Maybe the owner asked Sara to leave, with respect, but failed miserably at civility and even as a business manager,.
@Rigoberto Ross One of the services/items the baker offered to THE PUBLIC is wedding cakes. His refusal of that to the gays was in fact DISCRIMINATION. It was proven to be so in every court the baker went to, and the Supreme Court did not state otherwise. Even if they had been his customer before, it is 100% irrelevant to the case. However, I have never seen any statement that they had ever been to his shop before. It was their wedding planner that recommended Masterpiece to them, so that is a strong indication that they had not known about his shop. Sewing for discrimination is not demanding to be served, it's writing a wrong, and bringing justice to the unjust. That baker knows that he lost in regards to his religious beleifs and creative freedom argument, and he also knows that he could never do it again and get away with it. The same is now true in all of Colorado and an ever increasing number of states, and I thank God for that. The deal with Sara is she chooses to work and lie and defend one of the most deplorable people on the planet. Anyone with even a shred of morality or self respect would refuse her service. She was treated with more civility than she deserves. FYI, there is no such thing as a gay, or lesbian, or bisexual "lifestile".
@Iwant2chgmyworld I _"Whatever you call your deviant behavior it is a sin."_ _"Sin"_ is a human made construct. And, the claim that the scriptures state that any and all same sex sex is wrong, has been proven to be lies and distortions. _"Not my words but God's."_ You know little of God's words, let alone God. _"You can try and justify not being kind to another person by who their employed by but think its wrong to object to making a wedding cake for a unholy union."_ It's because she makes the choice to stay and knowingly blatantly lie for her employer. Not only is it not an _unholy union_ , it's more holy than all of Trump's marriages. You know that baker would gladly bake Trump a cake for any of his last two weddings. _"Sorry you can't have it both ways."_ Yes we in fact can, and are, and will increasingly be able to. _"You will see another red wave in 2020. Because the deploreables are speaking loud and clear."_ So, all you deplorables have your menstruations synchronised now. Glad to know. Your lowed minority rear your ugly heads on occasion when you see that we are making great progress. You come in mess things up, and we step up and do our best to fix it. Like Obama did with Bush's disaster of a presidency. You are enjoying the progress and great economy that comes from true progressive leadership. Or, are you another of those that thinks Trump fixed the economy in his first year of accomplishing nothing? Now we have gone from 7 years of steady and stable economic improvement, to instability all over. _"Just fyi homosexuality is considered a mental illness."_ Not according to reality and every major medical and psychological organisation worldwide, but your homophobia and cult mentality are mental issues. Get better soon.
chilichamelion it is, but sadly that doesn't matter anymore with the most corrupt admin ever in office. Everything they do is a huge ethics violation, but the trumptards and sniveling gop continue to support the reich.
@AnonyMouse "the most corrupt admin ever in office." LMAO. ignorance truly is a bliss on your case. I hate making fun at children but you do need some education.
Pat H bahahaha, you people love picking on children, it's the only people that you can intimidate, small minded, poorly educated, low class, yep your a trump "patsy"
This is why the you shouldn't deny service to people just because you disagree with them, because very soon it will happen to you, and no one will be coming to your defense
If staff don't like you in a restaurant and they are preparing your food you get nasty surprises. Get up and leave. I worked fast food and watched a server put a booger in the woman's sandwich because of something she said.
No one refused to make a cake for that gay couple only to not make the cake specifically customized for a gay wedding. The baker offered them any other "premade" cake and they could have then decorated it as they pleased.
Homebirth Homeschool Homestead I'm of two minds on this. An argument could be made that discriminating against someone on the basis of their poor character is fine. It's definitely fine legally whereas discriminating against someone on the basis of race, sexuality or religion is specifically illegal. But ultimately I do think she should have been served. It's not a company's place to decide who they serve or not. All companies exist to make money, everything else is pure obfuscation. At least that's how free market is supposed to work, the moment corporations start pushing an agenda free-market economics is out the window.
The differnce is she was refused all service not just for a paricular type of meal. The baker only said he wouldnt bake a wedding cakes for gays he didnt deny him all services. Tne gays could still buy any other pastry or other baked products. So yeah it is different. Its gonna come back and bite liberals on the ass.
2bobaf business owners have a universal right to refuse service to an individual based solely on the actions of that individual. You can get banned from a mall or a store based on what you have done. So long as those actions are unique to you and not a whole group of people. So you can ban anyone you like so long as you are doing it to protect your business. And not because you're discriminating against aspects of groups they belong to (if those groups are protected by law). So you can ban oj Simpson just for being him...but you can't ban him for being black. You can ban her without consequences...so long as it's about who she is as a person. And this was that.
The conservatives always come up with some nonsensical "scandal" when they have nothing to attack. Remember the huge controversy when Obama wore a tan suit...
You'd shoot me, for not wanting to serve someone in my own place? Everyone gets a fair chance, she did, except I seen her on TV doing stuff, saying things I do not stand for. so I have a right to not have her be on my property. Or does that only go for maga-people?
kevinmuehl Muehlkevin The fact that you idiots think that voting for the Democrats is the answer shows how easily manipulated by the propaganda you are. Wake up, you are being used.
There's a big difference between ostracizing someone for their actions and ostracizing someone for who they are. I'm surprised so few people have made that distinction so far.
Thanks for the heads up on the typo. Maybe you should destress more play some games, but I'm glad you noticed I play games, had to dig for that info did ya, unless I know you hehe. You are using a new bunk account to comment though like a troll would. Try not to say you a loser so much and use who you really are. Its ok though little fella you be a big boy soon.
Who the heck orders a cheese platter BEFORE dinner? It’s a desert. 🙄 Besides that, roughly “translated” , any business owner in Virginia is allowed to ban any individual who contradicts with the personal believes/religion of the owner. So, no matter what “rule” or law is used in this discussion , SHS is burned !!
She doesn’t like being singled out and treated like crap. Stop making excuses for this administration that does this to others. She has a choice. She doesn’t have to work for trump.
"Just treat her the same way she treats her customers: only take the order of the two people at the table you like, then tell Sanders, 'I'm not coing to comment on whether this dish contains peanuts," and then when the food never arrives, just say, 'I haven't talked to the chef about that yet, so I can't give you any new information. I'll be back at 2:45 tomorrow with a completely different menu that you can't order from." Also, bring out the wrong food and claim that's what they ordered. When they ask for a manager, he'll talk about how great the staff is and how beautiful the food looks, compliment everybody to their face and then tweet about how stupid they are.
So she stuck up for the rights of the Cake Shop owners to refuse to bake a Wedding Cake for a Gay Couple, but when she's refused service, she throws a tantrum? *No Sarah. You have it both ways. You don't get to pick and choose what Rights to support your Agenda* .
She didn't. The supreme court did
Yea ... funny how the Supreme court rules works both ways ... I mean that way
The fact that she tries to say she treated people with respect is laughable. A reporter asks her a question and she talks him down saying he can't understand more than a word. Her children should disown her for being such an embarrassment.

Young God - You must really love arse. It's ok, because we all love arse and we love you, the biggest arse ever.

Yeah, the Supreme Court just ruled that anyone can deny gay people services because of "religious beliefs." You could always deny service based on political beliefs. Most businesses won't do it, but it has always been legal to do so.

Wow that restaurant owner has more respect for democracy than the entire Trump administration
Who hasn't?
It’s great how democrats support free speech unless someone has a different opinion, bruh trumps president for another 7 years get used to it.
You poll a restaurant-kitchen-full of people in a town that voted heavily against Trump, and you call that democracy?
To anyone saying this isn't democracy... they literally had a vote and FOLLOWED THEOUGH WITH WHAT THE MAJORITY WANTED. That's democracy.
How does this have anything to do with free speech?
Here's what I would have done:
-Come out 25 minutes late with the order.
-1 Cheeto on each plate.
- "No this order was VERY fast. You've got your facts wrong."
- "In sorry this IS what you ordered."
- "Maybe you have trouble understanding simple sentences, Sarah: This IS what you ordered."
- "I haven't discussed it with the chef, I'll have to get back to you on that. Good night everyone, thank you.'
-Walk away with a shit eating grin.
So fast and fresh it will make your head spin. Everyone is saying that and anyone who disagrees is fake news.
😂
"I think the only problem with this order is that you can't understand how a single cheeto makes america great. americans overwhelmingly voted for a single cheeto and if you can't see that, it's bc you're a sore loser from 2016."
How about how she treated Jim Acosta after he continued asking her a question she refused to answer? Way to go, Jim!
If I was working for Trump administration, I wouldn't be eating at anywhere where you can't watch the entire process of them preparing your food. I mean who knows what could be in your food?
Or you could take Trump's strategy: eat where the food was prepared in advance without the knowledge that of who was going to eat it. AKA McDonalds.
Lifting a Trevor Noah joke eh?
"Woof!"
"The war of the roses", FTW
spit, urine, snot and probably more.
yet what they serve to the USA is far worse still.
My money is on a hand full of pubic hair...buh eh what do iknow 😂😂
Booting out fascists is the least you can do. Hats off to those working at that restaurant.

She wasn't "kicked out" ...she was told that she wasn't going to be served then she "tweetted" TrumpPutin asking him for the nearest McDonald's and he said "Sarah" come home !!!!....I have the "Golden Arches" in the Lincoln bedroom !
What about the possibility that she went there deliberately to provoke this outcome?
H H - That would take a self-awareness this administration doesn’t seem to possess.
I don't care. This is celebrity gossip that belongs in the tabloid news. And worse, a major distraction from the real and important news.
Denied service from a business based on what the owner's beliefs are. Nice to see that shoe on the other foot
Wrong, she let her arse loving 'tolerant' workers vote.
Babe, the workers who love arse are the ones getting booed out of restaurants. xD
@Zenny You got the facts messed up. The workers are fudge packers, and it seems they voted themselves out of their jobs : )
"You work for Donald Trump, you don't even treat yourself with respect." Wow. That line is iconic.
“What do you mean you’re respectful to everyone? You work for Donald Trump. You don’t even respect yourself.”
Yeah replace a comptient person with a woman, great idea. People love dealing with people that lose their minds once a month.
Just designate a special place for the Trump administration-people to eat: No furniture, on the concrete floor - and, of course, all within a cage with 24/7 video surveillance. If it gets too cold, restaurant owners may hand out mylar blankets as a gracious gesture.
taxiuniversum supplied by Obama, like the immigrant kids
taxiuniversum, too fucking fantastic😂
John McSween, ooh guys! Another Lemming joined the conversation!
taxiuniversum Be sure to separate their families too - I’m sure Trump has ordered plenty of cages
When she asks where her food is, insist that you have already answered that question.
NeoRipshaft that is a great idea!
NeoRipshaft 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Waitress to Sarah: "I'm sorry Ma'am, we just ran out of what you ordered."Sarah: "Well, OK, I'll have ________________."Waitress: "Let me check with the chef. ... No, sorry, served the last portions of that just a minute ago."Sarah: "Let me try your _____________."Waitress (after a 10-minute trip to the kitchen): "You won't believe thia, Ma'am, but we're out of that, too."etc., etc. etc. 'til Sarah leaves
😂😂
Hahahahahaha. Good one!
A couple of weeks ago SCOTUS ruled that it's ok for a private business to refuse service to anyone for any reason. So this is no big deal.
DoxRap, really...till she went home and whined about it on her Government site!
oh, it is legal, but using official governmental communication channel to criticise a legitimate business is illegal under the 1st amendment
@666Tomato666 Do you have the name of a case that set that precedent? I certainly don't see it in the text of the 1st Amendment.
Kick them all out.
Great marketing though. Every1 knows Red hen now.
Cheeky Laurel everyone knows they're retarded
bill joesburg Highest recommendation I can think of at the moment, plus the food looks terrific.
Most restaurant owners regard their restaurant as their own homes. I wouldn't have Sarah in my home.
I'm going to VA for vacation in two weeks! Looks like I have a good food destination.
give my regards to them
Anna
Come back to this comment and explain how the experience was!! :D
Anna:
I'm afraid, but if several comments, I've read are true - they are fully booked for the next two months at least. Sorry.
Ollie B that's awesome for them!
Apparently Ms. Huckabee-Sanders was not in actuality "kicked out". Clarify that, if you will Madam Press Secretary?
Good idea. We should just troll the white house staff accordingly to the way they troll us.
hannah ingle facist behaviour from a liberal...
Puppa Jacko because behavior from conservative;)
The Red Hen's business will definitely go up after this.
nesohawkins they are booked for 2 months
And then after the two months, bankruptcy
I’m dining there actually I live in NH and I’m traveling over there, It’s the only place you can order your food Drumpf free.
Sarah lied when she said she treats people respectfully. She is always insulting reporters in the White House press briefing. Remember when she told a reporter that he couldn't understand simple questions? That was kind of insulting wasn't it.
That reporter must speak with Texan accent, Sarah has problems listening to non-Texan diction.
Ian Campbell, that would be just one of the many, many!
Silly you... everyone (in the White House) knows, reporters aren't people.
Not very respectful are you Highlighted. Like trump, like Sarah, like trump supporter.
It's hard NOT to insult the stupids with dumb questions. Trust me I tried before replying to yours.
The Red Hen Restaurant must be booked solid for the next 2 years by now, with all the publicity thanks to SHS and her ilk.
Go, Red Hen!
Stephen Colbert you ARE the best!
blhtml the best beta male?
gotcha bitch - you're so booooring...
”Her actions say far more about her than about me.”
They sure do.
Yep! One has principals and morals. One has neither.
Pat Isaac The fact that the staff voted her out is glorious.
Joakim Kanon that's how voting should work in the US, not this rigged electoral college shenanigans
If I were her, I would be far more worried if a restaurant invited her in with open arms, a big, big smile, and offered a complimentary order of anything made 'Just for you!'
ruclips.net/video/Qq4j1LtCdww/видео.html :D
Red Hen's Service Policy:
No shoes, no shirt, no soul, no service.
I still have a hard time believing that Sarah Sanders politely left a restaurant.
what ever happened to the choice of an establishment to reserve the right to serve. Who cares who she is, they dont need to serve her
Karwobra Bravo Bravo Bravo!!!
So, you think the bakers not making cake for gay couples is good?
How is that different from segregation? Yes, I know, that's an extreme. When we set rules we have to assume the people following them are willing to take it to the extreme. If we say restaurants can refuse service for political reasons, what's stopping minorities from being kicked out? Imagine you agreed with her (or pretend she's someone you agree with), then how would you feel about her being denied service?
Coen A I would feel the same. "We have the right to refuse service to anyone"
Sarah really you treat everyone with respect ... Have you watched your press conferences? You are mean spirited and snarky
But you seemed to be blind not seeing how the press treated her, didn't you? crooked eyes.
"she twote" haha
Yeah, I heard that too! :-)
Yeah I was like.. wait what?
Murder she twote
He can't exactly say "twatted"
Twote the raven: Nevermore!
Honestly... Asking her to leave was best case scenario. Ever hear the saying "don't piss off the people that handle your food"? It's a saying for a reason.
Inquisitive Cameron 👏👏👏👏👏
gotcha bitch:
Now I am confused...on the one hand, I suppose, working at McDonalds is the only job someone like you would be able to get...on the other hand - going by all your comments here - I imagined you to be unemployed.
Hmmm...
gotcha bitch lol..
Did Stephen just create the verb 'Twote'?! Haha. To Tweet in the past - 'Twote'...
Tom Repton The past participle too :)
Tom Repton no he didn't, he just conjugated the verb "to tweet."
tweet, twote, twitten
The left r sad, I've only been here 5 min. And I'm convinced they already drank all the Kool aid
Don't forget the perfect tense - "have twitten"
Serve her an empty plate and refer her to outside counsel...just like she does to us everyday
this comment is so underrated
wish i lived close to the red hen iwould eat ther at least twice a week .
The restaurant owner did what's best for the country and the American people.
The waitress should have taken her order then brought her the wrong dish, then lied about it!!!!!! Hahahahahahahahahaha
jay bomb wow now das funny, harharhar u should b a commedian yuck yuck
'Conservatives' can dish it out but, obviously, can't take their own medicine. Thanks, Red Hen :o)
I'm a conservative and I personally believe the owner of the Red Hen is justified to do whatever they please, it's their business. They can refuse service to whoever they want.
You could say the exact same thing about the left....
How nice is it that she could actually go out with her children ... But thousand of parents in these concentration camps that Donald Trump has made can't even see their children.
Karma is coming
Sai Sai damn, you are an idiot.
Sai Sai because their illegals
Where was this outrage under Obama!!??!?!?

EVERYONE IN THE AREA... GO VISIT THE RED HEN TODAY! SHOW YOUR SUPPORT!

Daniel Forget, good luck with trying to start a new Political party. Heaven knows it worked for the Independent party and the Green party.
Rose Smith, any party but the current Dems. They are disgusting.
Come worship Stalin with me
@@i_strawberri_judi9225 it's discusting that you are down with the Anti-Christ president. He separated kids on a racial basis from their parents AND put them in a concentration camp.
The restaurant owner did whats best.
Cody Eason sign up for unemployment? We out number u and stand firm against commies
gotcha bitch K.
gotcha bitch - you're so cute.
It's only a matter of time before resturaunt workers watch this and catch onto this idea of how to properly serve the Hukkahsanz and Friends
It's only a matter of time before a conservative restaurant owner kicks out a liberal and everyone reverses course on the hypocrisy train.
I'd say being kicked out of a restaurant is a small punishment for people who support separating families 🤷🏽♀️
i would love to see sander takes her own medicine. like for example: where is my order? (Waiter: I am not gonna comment on that). Why is that table got served already when we got here first. insert random word here (Waiter: Ma'am if you could just have shut up and let me finish serving the table. i would have deliver your food by then, it was the republicans who was resisting the completion of order, they are failing the people and lots of people are not eating at this restaurant because of them. really terrible people "whilst republicans have nothing to do in the process of cooking and serving"). why is our order taking so long? (Waiter: uhm, i have not talk to the chef about it, once we have talk, maybe we would follow you up on that.)
They should have done that instead of being upfront and honest.
"Do onto others, as you would have them do unto you."
"Turnabout is fair play"
"What's good for the goose, is good for the gander."
.. and so on, and so on...
I do not agree with Sarah Huckabee Sanders. I think she's a traitor and a spineless liar. But if she walked into my restaurant I would serve her.
H H And that would be fine. This restaurant just chose a different(and to me better) idea
Way to go Red Hen!!
"you work for donald trump, you dont even treat yourself with respect" on point
Nailed .... " .... you work for Donald Trump, you don't even treat yourself with respect! Totally nailed ... LMAO
discrimination, in any form , is bad.......
@Kerry Roberts
Tell that to the owner of Masterpiece Cakeshop. Sarah Slanders wasn't refused service based on any protected class.
Ifihada Hammer
The bakery guy did not deny service to the pair of gays, he denied a specific item, and that, is a complete different deal.
@Rigoberto Ross
One of the services/items the baker offered to THE PUBLIC is wedding cakes.
@Iwant2chgmyworld I
_"Whatever you call your deviant behavior it is a sin."_
_"Sin"_ is a human made construct. And, the claim that the scriptures state that any and all same sex sex is wrong, has been proven to be lies and distortions.
_"Not my words but God's."_
You know little of God's words, let alone God.
_"You can try and justify not being kind to another person by who their employed by but think its wrong to object to making a wedding cake for a unholy union."_
It's because she makes the choice to stay and knowingly blatantly lie for her employer. Not only is it not an _unholy union_ , it's more holy than all of Trump's marriages. You know that baker would gladly bake Trump a cake for any of his last two weddings.
_"Sorry you can't have it both ways."_
Yes we in fact can, and are, and will increasingly be able to.
_"You will see another red wave in 2020. Because the deploreables are speaking loud and clear."_
So, all you deplorables have your menstruations synchronised now.
_"Just fyi homosexuality is considered a mental illness."_
Not according to reality and every major medical and psychological organisation worldwide, but your homophobia and cult mentality are mental issues.
Get better soon.
Colbert's impression of Sarah Huckabee is actually pretty good ha.
gotcha bitch nice bait
kihlos danka
gotcha bitch I appreciate your bait at least you tried
Lol that was so petty and cringy of her to call out the restaurant on Twitter as if it was a Yelp review lol I feel secondhand embarrassment now
If she had had her children with her, would the owner have separated them ;)
Kasper Joonatan 😹😹😹😹😹😹😹
Kasper Joonatan, I love where she says on the news, that her children were threatened. Trying to play the "poor children" card. Despicable😑
Poor migrant children
Yes!! No more smoky eye...Noticed that...she now uses the ashes to cover her bruises.
She also used her official government twitter account to publicly criticize a private business, which is likely a huge ethics violation.
chilichamelion it is, but sadly that doesn't matter anymore with the most corrupt admin ever in office. Everything they do is a huge ethics violation, but the trumptards and sniveling gop continue to support the reich.
@AnonyMouse
"the most corrupt admin ever in office." LMAO. ignorance truly is a bliss on your case. I hate making fun at children but you do need some education.
Pat H bahahaha, you people love picking on children, it's the only people that you can intimidate, small minded, poorly educated, low class, yep your a trump "patsy"
Teresa Henry And the Trumptards bring up Hillary like they always do. Hey, come up with a better argument!
chilichamelion Hillary used her accounts to give away classified secrets. What's your point ?
That employee vote is more democratic than the US...
This is why the you shouldn't deny service to people just because you disagree with them, because very soon it will happen to you, and no one will be coming to your defense
Adrian Duran wow u so smart, fucktard
Adrian Duran true
If staff don't like you in a restaurant and they are preparing your food you get nasty surprises. Get up and leave. I worked fast food and watched a server put a booger in the woman's sandwich because of something she said.
This is for all the wedding cakes that homosexual couples didn't get.
How does it feel to be denied services? Pretty shitty huh?
Think how much diabetes was prevented though. So you think she shouldn't have been kicked out?
No one refused to make a cake for that gay couple only to not make the cake specifically customized for a gay wedding. The baker offered them any other "premade" cake and they could have then decorated it as they pleased.
18Darkside Only _after_ they started an argument. Initially he didn't want to sell them anything.
I would not feel proud at all being apart of the Trump administration even thought it is powerful positions I still would not feel proud.
Good for the restaurant manager, in fact, I wouldn't mind driving 330 miles just to go to this restaurant.
Much love and respect to the Red Hen owner and staff
how is this different to baker who refuse to make the wedding cake?
You can be a fake Christian but you cannot be a moral American.
Byakuya Kuchiki or intelligent enough to make sense, good luck in life, you'll need it, sheesh
2bobaf k
2bobaf business owners have a universal right to refuse service to an individual based solely on the actions of that individual. You can get banned from a mall or a store based on what you have done. So long as those actions are unique to you and not a whole group of people.
So you can ban anyone you like so long as you are doing it to protect your business. And not because you're discriminating against aspects of groups they belong to (if those groups are protected by law). So you can ban oj Simpson just for being him...but you can't ban him for being black.
You can ban her without consequences...so long as it's about who she is as a person. And this was that.
I often wonder what would we be talking about if Trump wasnt President
Oh, you know... foreign policy, domestic policy, economic policy, interest rates, climate change, management of natural resources, education, timely disaster relief for Puerto Rico, etc etc.
Trump's greatest fear: Not Trump.
How to kill hilliary?
Manda He had a show years beofre trump
The conservatives always come up with some nonsensical "scandal" when they have nothing to attack. Remember the huge controversy when Obama wore a tan suit...
Red Hen 🐔 2020
I'd refuse her.
I'd serve her the hottest pepper dish to see her explode.
You can do that.....Free country.
gotcha bitch You're all talk, keyboard warrior.
gotcha bitch For kicking you out of a restaurant.... And they say liberals are the sensitive snowflakes xD
You'd shoot me, for not wanting to serve someone in my own place? Everyone gets a fair chance, she did, except I seen her on TV doing stuff, saying things I do not stand for. so I have a right to not have her be on my property. Or does that only go for maga-people?
#GoOutAndVote
Voting is a waste of time. Popular vote doesn't matter.
kevinmuehl Muehlkevin yes!! Best hashtag
VOTE BLUE! End the madness!
Zotot Zotot It does in every election but the president. You are aware there are more than just presidential elections, I hope.
kevinmuehl Muehlkevin The fact that you idiots think that voting for the Democrats is the answer shows how easily manipulated by the propaganda you are. Wake up, you are being used.
There's a big difference between ostracizing someone for their actions and ostracizing someone for who they are. I'm surprised so few people have made that distinction so far.
Getting married is a choice. So is your cake supplier.
Sweet when in Virginia eat at the red hen, good people welcome i like it. 😊
Bilsabob Go back to playing your games , its spelled Virginia.
If I lived in the neighborhood I'd eat at the Red Hen tonight, just to show my gratitude by supporting them.
Surprised the electoral college didn't get a piece of this and completely bypass the popular vote.
Russians too late to influence the vote here.
Writers are on fire and it's only Monday! Great, I need the relief.
Who the heck orders a cheese platter BEFORE dinner? It’s a desert. 🙄
Besides that, roughly “translated” , any business owner in Virginia is allowed to ban any individual who contradicts with the personal believes/religion of the owner.
So, no matter what “rule” or law is used in this discussion , SHS is burned !!
Stephen you are so funny. she is just mad because it was a democratic vote that ousted her.I love your show. greetings from Canada.
Womp womp
Poor Sarah Succubus! She had to unfurl her leathery wings and fly away from that delicious cheese plate.
J R 😹 hahahahaha
Do racist know they are racist kind of how a crazy people don't know they're crazy
Bad guys never think they're the bad guy. If they did, there wouldn't be any bad guys.
I really would like to work for a owner who asks me who could stay and who could leave the restaurant
people live near the red hen needs to go and show support. i kind of feel a bit bad for huckabee thou this is like school bullies XD
She doesn’t like being singled out and treated like crap. Stop making excuses for this administration that does this to others. She has a choice. She doesn’t have to work for trump.
How is this different from denying a Gay couple a wedding cake based on religion?
Matthijs Somers ☝🏾😗 It’s not, and that’s the point.
The gay couple asked for something the bakery did not have.
The employee vote is reminiscent of Trump’s impeachment.
Red Hen Restaurant …. Morally superior, stunningly courageous heart warning staff, comforting surrounding with good food. Thank You.
I'll be back at 2:45 tomorrow with a completely different menu that you can't order from."
Also, bring out the wrong food and claim that's what they ordered.
When they ask for a manager, he'll talk about how great the staff is and how beautiful the food looks, compliment everybody to their face and then tweet about how stupid they are.
"Woman realizing too late what the fortune teller was trying to warn her about" lmao 😂😂😂
*T W O T E*
Just lie to her: and say sorry we're close. 'SHE WILL UNDERSTAND'
she understand Donald Trump
Opting to lie to Sarah Sanders instead of giving her the cold, hard, truth, would have been too ironic.
Can't understand u though
She Twote?
Marconius - lol . . . awhile ago ! Past tense of tweet . . .
I don’t think u should be kicked out of a res Iran’s just because u disagree with someone’s beliefs
*From her twitter she twotte*
Twote is now a word
It is now.
Reboot of the popular series: "Murder, She Twote."
It had to be "twote", "twat" was already taken.
