@@ImShy-hn7eci had bad aim but i gave the infantry rifle a chance and my aim went from below average at the start of reload to being able to get insane beams from 70+ meters with it days before it got vaulted. i just think some people never saw the potential in it cause they never gave it a real chance before going straight to their normal assault rifles.

In this update, I won Fortnite Reload with a crowned win and no respawns! So I have to say, this is definitely a great update.
My fav combo was the ak and thunder, the nerfed the shii out of me 😭

i think the fammas(burst ar) is really clean to play with. always feels satisfying.
I would honestly liked if they vaulted the heavy for the charge, but it defo is a builds only gun, its more effective in builds, the other unvaults are good to, its just WHY THE LEVER ACTION RIFLE FOR THE INFANTRY, wouldve prefered a dmr or instead of the lever action, vault the infantry and heavy for the pulse rifle, a good mix of both the heavy ar and infantry
I would've loved the tactical or cobra dmrs instead of that crap that is the lever action.

Only part i disagree with here is calling the Burst AR a downgrade, from the Ak its an upgrade imo
Charge shotgun and rapid fire SMG are really good guns in build mode, I assume they have looked at the numbers and seen the build playerbase is higher in reload and therefore decided to cater the loot to that mode a bit more for now

The charge shotgun is one of my favorites and I still remember a tip where you can open doors while charging which I see being very useful in tilted to surprise people

I agree that this update is a big L. The Infantry Rifle was my main AR in this mode and seeing that it got replaced by the Burst is upsetting, but I do like the change with us getting the Rapid Fire SMG, that thing is insane at Epic and Legendary rarity.
Im so happy they didn’t remove the mammoth pistol, the infantry and heavy assault still hurt though
Just saying, the gold lever action rifle now does 197 headshot damage and you can shoot 9 shots rather fast. And it reloads like a shotgun so you can keep shooting it. Id take it over the other 2 snipers easily.

taking out the infantry AND the heavy was just crazy ngl. and replacing the stinger with the rapid fire would be good if the twin mag wasnt in, because the twin mag is quite literally just the better version of the rapid fire. Should've replaced the twin mag tbh.
Charge shotgun kinda a W tho, hits hard and is a unique weapon whereas the thunder is pretty much just a reskin pump with slightly different stats/spread.
Burst and Rapid are not bad, Charge is mid, and Lever is just trash....I want the Infantry back.
For me lowkey i like the new loadout more. The charge shotgun im pretty sure can one pump if golden and im a lil sweat ngl so i love it.

edit: btw the charge shotgun got buffed in ch4 season 4, the legendary is 180 without charging and 209 charged so charging it does only really matter on builds now

They really have the audacity to replace the god-tier infantry with the damn lever action, and the stinger with the rapid fire.
The burst is pretty sick tho and the charge is a fair change even if I’m not a fan.

Once they add the three burst back, the weapon would be so much better. And the charge shotgun is really good in zero build, I got a 15 kill win and I caught people off guard with the power of the green charge. Unpopular opinion but the charge shotgun is my favorite shotgun.
