- I’d say I’ve seen some beautiful days
I’ve walked countless coastlines
Awoken on mountain tops
I’ve seen death and birth and kissed good lips
I don’t need a music machine telling me what a good story is
Matter of fact I’ve never asked nothing from nobody
I’ve taken my motorbike down the pacific 101
And i have stood atop the Empire State Building with my father
I have ridden in fear although I was afraid every single time
I’ve learned that every waken moment is enough and excess never leads to better things
It only piles and piles on top of the things that are already abundantly in front of you
Like breathing and chasing and slow dancing and love making and fighting and laughing
I am unhinged, unworthy, and distasteful to mostly everyone I meet
However I am loyal to a fault to anyone I find kindness in
I do not and will not fear tomorrow because I feel as though today has been enough
And I got no hate in my heart for anything, anywhere, or anyone
And I think fear and Fridays got an awful lot in common
They are overdone and glorified and always leave you wanting

This is church. A poem? More like a prayer. This so parallels my prayer every night.
My 16 year old brother was killed in a tragic accident one month ago, and he loved your music so much. We played this at the start of his celebration of life service. Your music has brought my family so much comfort while we try to begin to navigate through this darkness. Thank you.

Keep your brother alive, and don’t talk in past tense about him. Just because you can’t see him, doesn’t mean he’s not about.

I’ve literally been waiting for this for the longest it went from listening to it on tik tok to listening to the album version and I couldn’t have asked for anything more. “ I do not and will not fear tomorrow because I feel as though today has been enough” this has been engraved into me actually for me this poem is a affirmations for me I hear the beginning and immediately start repeating it word for word.

About a year ago I came across “Burn, Burn, Burn” and it immediately resonated. It is now one of my favorite songs of all time, and this song gives me very similar vibes. I absolutely love your music, you put so many emotions into words that I previously couldn’t.. and you have that same love for music I have in myself. Thank you for your songs and your words, they have healed many.. including myself.

I am so saddened I cannot find the unreleased version anymore. I understand it was technically hurting Zach and all, but it just had so much more emotion to it and I resonated with it so much. This is good too but it doesn’t tickle the brain right.
