Thanks for posting this, as others have said, an absolute gentlemen and legend. Love that all he had to drink while he was bowling was a glass of beer and a cigarette. A true hero is Harold, a coal miner, fast bowler, and a man who held his dignity when he waa treated disgracefully by the powers that be. R.I.P
My pleasure Yes he was treated badly after the bodyline series but Harold left his mark on the cricket field forever also till his dying day he never apologised and glad about that demon bowler but truly honest man
When Loll busted his foot at the end, Jardine would Not Let Harold Leave the Field. He made him go to cover point. With a busted foot! Harold never played test cricket again.
A LEGEND OF CRICKET RIP MR LARWOOD
What an absolute gentleman. A fierce competitor but with real humility and class.
What an absolute man Harold Larwood. Greatest ever England fast bowler.

This man, 121 years after his birth is still making the county of Nottinghamshire proud
What a fantastic Notts man! Apparently only accepted a glass of beer as refreshment on the Cricket pitch!
He said he didn’t eat breakfast or lunch just some cigarettes, beer and dinner at night

Had a job to do - he did it! TY
Larwood and Voce, what a great partnership
Still kept his Nottinghamshire accent despite living in Australia.
