Hi Jim. The CNC Router was built from plans purchased form Michael Simpson at www.kronosrobotics.com/krmx0 . I built the 50" x 27" version. The plan book comes with a comprehensive BOM that includes links to part sources, many of which are indeed Amazon. I recommend this plan highly.
Hello John. Note that most of the parts are cut from 1/4" plywood, but a few are cut from 1/2" plywood. The tool paths for the 1/4" parts were cut with a 2mm end mill with a 1/8" shank. The tool paths for 1/2" parts were cut with a 1/8" end mill. The end mills were purchased on Amazon and were made by HQMaster. They are available in quantities of 10 at reasonable prices. I also bought the brass tube and brass rod on Amazon. I bought plywood on-line from Woodcraft.com. I bought their product called 1/4" and 1/2" "Finnish Plywood" as opposed to just regular Baltic Birch plywood. This is pricey but very high quality. I bought the movement on-line from klockit.com. It is their stock number "11085-bundle". This is a fun project. Good luck. Note that I recently posted another video showing some of the CNC cutting.
@@richardevans6891 I caught your other video! Looks great! Thanks for the info. My biggest blocker was what exact model number for the movement from klockit. I ordered those 2mm endmills as well. Thanks for the tip. I picked up the brass from Ace hardware. I really just need the sheet goods now. I'll check out woodcraft. we have one here in Portland.

So, tell me more about your homebuilt router. Did you get the parts for that off Amazon?

I just purchased the plans. 1/8" Endmill for all the toolpaths? Do have a list of US suppliers you used?
