The rainbow was never a pride thing until recently. A rainbow was God's promise to Noah (and humanity) not to flood the earth again. So a rainbow was seen as making a promise to someone.
And mentioned how they took it and changed it to mean pride.

The Bible goes into a lot of details about how we are to use our words & how to speak. It talks about how words have power & how you can build someone up or tear someone down with your words so it advises to be careful with what you say. The Bible also talks about how you speak & heavily criticizes profanity (not just saying curse words but also blaspheming, lying, gossiping, babbling, inane speech, etc ..) Most kids are usually 4-5 in primary 1 and 11-12 by primary 7. My headteacher in primary school was a nun and a wicked evil old bitch. By the time I got to high-school I hated religion and our religious education class was a complete and pointless waste of our time. I'd rather have spent my 2 hours of religious education and went to PE or history class instead
@@TheValoisMadness i go to a catholic college prep highschool which was *founded* by the sisters of mercy but is not taught by sisters anymore. our religion curriculum is so shallow that it is alarming, i have learned much more from my own research and reading than i ever have in school. religion class is treated as a joke class that not even the teacher takes seriously, almost everyone gets an A+ just for showing up. it’s very sad especially how highly they treat academics in every other subject, it’s almost as if it isn’t as important to them
