This year I have included all 4 skills into materials covered for my esl students that come to me for extra lessons as they are not doing well at school. I have seen an improvement in each student that was not achieved by just focusing on grammar for school. The students have also now started to have an interest in the language and are asking questions
@TEFLorg Hi Alan, I teach mostly middle school ages 10 to 13. I have recently taken some elementary students and have implemented this strategy with them from day one to set some foundational skills.
