Steve-O, my biggest piece of criticism for the podcast is cool stories and conversations are not happening anymore. I remember when Tommy Lee was telling crazy stories about the 80s no one had heard before, or all of the jackass guests revealing the insanity behind the scenes. You used to approach the guest as a fan, trying and succeeding in finding the cool underground information us fans want to hear. I find this isn’t the case anymore and the conversations are shallow. If you take anything away from this reflective state I would hope this would be something you try to implement again. 🖤
It’s pretty obvious Steveo iis all about making money it doesn’t really care about his fans
@@silentdarkness6260 Yeah, only thing I can say is at least he will use the money to build the animal sanctuary.
as much as we all LOVE the steve-o good health redemption arc, its disrespectful to your fans when you see them as little more than consumers for whatever products youre shilling. not only on podcasts but his live shows are almost constant infomercials. the content is clearly second to the opportunity to make a quick buck. literal definition of a sellout.
Anything Stevo says his yes men will go along with lol
Steve o is just a walking billboard for himself so he can make more money; in the most tasteless of ways.
He’s trying to run an animal sanctuary
this feels like a narcissist intervention, but without the intervention part
Or the narcissist part seeing as how he actually takes responsibility

Now you guys see it... ive been saying this for over a year or two. I love steve o which is why it annoys me. The whole bam situation, holding money from bams Kid, being a typical pompous AA lunatic with him and zack.. hes too far gone on the other end of the spectrum
Bro I have loved Steve-O forever. Really became diehard after reading his first book. Watch every podcast. Honestly I have been getting pushed away from the arrogance and high horse attitude that has been growing lately. The biggest concern being the shameless plugging and constant make money mindset. On his JRE episode even Joe was annoyed by it. He has been self aware about it and does address and his audience which has made it ok for me BUT these last few weeks his podcast appearances were like the breaking point from me and I turned my notifications off for his stuff, was still going to watch if I saw it, but I was done giving him intense focus and this saved it. Good job Steve-O. This is how all online personalities should deal with problems, you could’ve attacked 2lazy and threatened him behind closed doors but now you just made his whole year. He criticized you because he cares and obviously wants you to be better. Good work Steve-O but please chill on the ads on the videos and chill on the im better than thee sober attitude.
I think Steve-O is addicted to making money. Seriously, he should take a step back and ask a trusted confidant in the program to assess his attitude towards it because I really believe he has an unhealthy relationship with that pursuit.
I met Stevo in 2012 when I was 18 on his first stand up show in Aus. I thought was cool he took time to take photos with fans afterwards . I grew up idolising him. Bought his book it was one of the only things I had in my back pack when I was homeless drug addict. I was so hoping to get it signed last year 2023 and tell him he was the inspiration I had to get sober. shame I never got the chance to say that. I love Stevo but he had a real arrogance to him like he was better then everyone there. And people say wasted Stevo was a dick but nah good effort on Tryna help bam out coming on tour

It just never even crossing Steve os mind that maybe he should know at least one thing about the people who want to podcast with him is hilarious
yaa that was quite shocking
Yeah I wonder what his reaction would be if a guest came on wildride and said they didn't know what Steve O did or never saw jackass / didn't like it
@@Hawkinz Everyone with a brain has spotted his narcissistic behavior for years. It's only now trending because people only talk about stuff once they see others make it okay to talk about.,
They invited him as a fan, why does he have to do homework for their job?
@@allidoisturtle there’s this little thing called common courtesy or maybe the fact that it’s just kinda fucking dumb of a person to do a podcast they have absolutely no clue about
Happy holidays Steve O! Thanks for all the entertainment!
I think it boils down to respecting that going on people's podcast shouldn't be a self serving exercise but acknowledging that it's their space that they you are privileged to access their audience. Part of that is trusting that the podcast host knows their audience best & will steer the content correctly to present you in a way that their audience will want to invest in what you are trying to promote. What you were doing was heavy handed audience farming
Steve-o, you really really shouldnt start podcasts with "i really like your numbers". Its absolutely gross and ive seen you do that on so many occasions. It really just says "im only here cause you have good exposure, but id rather not be here". Hosts have visibly cringed when you do that, and bad comments follow ofc...
I stopped watching it because of this
Stop being such bitches
What do you mean by I really like your numbers? What does this mean?
@@imadrunk3576meaning I like how many views you get and how much people watch and pay attention to your podcast. Meaning your numbers of views is impressive rather than talent or message

Much love Steve-O. You face yourself in ways many aren’t able too. Your honesty and openness is truly appreciated. 💜
The honesty is getting a little much though. These millionaires and their online therapy session just never end. Steven just needs to bring the good content and ignore the bullshit, but no, the bullshit is his content now

I've always appreciated your honesty and candor.
Admitting to wrong is only relevant if it's sincere and to the person wronged.
If they don't accept it, that's still their baggage to carry.
That doesn't mean you get to retaliate for them not accepting your apology, that just means you didn't mean your apology.
Somethings are just no one elses business.
I'm kind of tired of carrying Stevens baggage though. He's a big boy making those big bouly bucks, and I still gotta hear these online therapy sessions? Sheesh what a chore
Unfortunately, I feel this is the exact opposite of sincere. Just look at all the damn ad reads he did this episode.
@@TheRealBGregz so true, the last three podcasts I saw him on the only complement he could give the host was the numbers their podcast was getting. Steven Glover has sold his soul to the algorithm
As a gamer and a Steve o fan, I do think people need to understand that not everyone is a gamer and you're sort of a comedian, making light is expected, but it's always a mark of bravery when someone addresses controversy about themselves, respect
steveo should have to do brendan schaubs podcast as punishment then we will all forgive him
The video game thing wasn't the problem it's that he went on a famous rappers podcast without doing a touch of research and asked him what he "does on stage" ?
It's the blind arrogance that made him come across as a dickhead. Danny Brown's podcast isn't the first time he's gone on about how he doesn't think videogames is a healthy hobby for anyone. It would be like saying no one should watch sports or movies because some people get carried away or addicted. It's ridiculous to single out one hobby like that.
@williamjohnson9158 haha! No shit brother.
Nobody is arguing that he isn’t entitled to an opinion, it just looks a little tone deaf for shitting on something like video games when you’ve got a history of severe substance abuse and made a career off hurting yourself for attention and money lol

Nah. It's another L in my book. He's only saying it because he realised no one was agreeing with him apart from his "yes men". And he can't handle criticism well.

i’m glad you recognized it and are able to hold yourself accountable. That’s what recovery is all about. I stopped watching and I was a regular viewer. Just because you come off negative a lot of times and come down on other people really hard. It’s not right to hold others accountable unless you’re ready to hold yourself accountable. And it was all adding up for me. I almost bought tickets to one of the shows in Kalamazoo Michigan. Until I read numerous reports of you throwing people out and getting really upset at the crowd for interrupting and things. These are your fans. I don’t know it confuses me. It comes off as self-centered and arrogant. And that’s not what recovery is about. It’s not a contest. Sometimes I see people with personality traits and I’m like man they need to do some microdose mushroom therapy. I wish you the best. When I was seeing how you were treating others, I was like you can’t really call out Bam for his behavior when you’re acting like this. And you acknowledge it. Great episode dude glad to see a slice of humanity
Haven’t even started this yet but massive respect for facing the criticism, we love you steve-o!
Facing it to and extend, but for what reasons? For example. 5:39 They think that a person can trash something, and then because they get backlash and ONLY because they get backlash. They go and do the thing they trashed, and that "makes it right"? 😂 That's so contrived and fake. To do something you can't stand just to try to reverse the situation get people to like you. That's such gross behavior and even suggesting it was slimy. So it seems to me like he isn't facing things out of genuine humility. He's doing it purely to appease the people he upset. In my opinion, he'd have been better off keeping his mouth shut.
You said it great at the beginning of the video. The program has taught me to keep moving forward. No matter what. Always do the next right thing. Whatever that looks like! ❤

Right on man powerful and self aware of your mishaps
I wouldnt worry about it, somebody is always offended over anything these days. Weve never been so divided as people as we are now, their is no unity anymore, its really rare. Everyones out for themselves and looking for someone to bash from a safe distance and something to complain about and i wouldnt sweat it.
Thanks for apologizing for what happened on the Danny Brown show. I was so embarrassed for Danny when that happened because he’s such a talented musician. Big ups to you Steve for admitting when you’re wrong. It takes a big person
I haven’t watched anything with Steve-o in it since that moment. Was truly heartbreaking
Is this video worth the watch ? Or do I continue my steveo walk out
Lol. You feel relieved by his apology to someone els. Get over yourself.
@@JC.Bailey it’s okay, like stevo and the rest of us. One day you’ll grow up and know what morales are. Until then, have fun with drugs my friend, clearly they are helping
I thought he was going to give something away on his website on all his solo pods. Also can’t wait to see redbars reaction to this.
The 2lazy2try shout out was so unexpected hahaha good shit
Danny Brown is a successful musician but also a budding comedian as well. That’s something Steve o should also be aware of since it’s an overlap that they share.
That beanie guy might keep Steveo sober but he enables so many shitty qualities in him. His livelihood is entwined in Steveo's "success"
Don’t be afraid to celebrate a couple of Ws. You seem to be moving in the right direction overall Steve.
i mean, 'addressing mistakes and learning from them openly' is a pretty big w. imagine if tom segura sacrificed his pride for one second and said something like, 'i'll cool it with the poors stuff, and all the rich bragging, i just thought i was being funny but i now realize it was insufferable and i'll try to do better moving forward,' it would immediately shut down the near constant stream of 'podcast essay' channel videos hating on him.
lol, segura isn't curable
Love You Bro… Peace and Much Respect from Toronto, 🇨🇦
53:55 - to me, it makes more sense to floss before brushing. Then whatever particles come loose are brushed away
The fact that you are emotionally aware & addressing fan concerns makes you a better person than a lot of todays comedians who’s egos are filled with too much pride. This poor gives you mad respect, Steve-o. (Loved you on TYSO!) 🤓
Steve, you are doing your podcast well. There will always be some bull crap that comes by but you are nearly harmless and the fact you're able to make a video about this stuff speaks volumes. Remember how far you have come from the 90's til now.
Man, hell yeah, getting these L's is all a positive experience too, it's your mindset and what you do with the experience. For someone like yourself, these moments will only make you better, more proficient, efficient and professional etc.
Btw bro, get back in touch with Bam and do a podcast with him! everyone's dying to see you both killing it together, that would be the shit, best start to 2024! Do it man, you guys have so much history, don't let it go to waste and make it work. I believe in you guys %100
I think what people these days forget about is that we are all not the same and that is ok. We dont always like the same things and that is TOTALLY fine. I've been a gamer my entire life and have been a Steveo fan since Wildboyz and Jackass. Doesn't matter who you are, you are ALLOWED to have your own feelings toward something without "critical" judgement from the masses. If someone doesnt like video games at all, it is NOT the end of the world. It just means they are different which is PERFECTLY fine, at least it should be fine instead of instant negativity. It is so bizarre how people fight for inclusion but will quickly push away difference of opinion. With how far Steveo has come in life in general, i could careless if he thinks Video games were beyond a waste of time. That aspect does not define Steveo. I'm still gonna love video games. I'm still gonna love Steveo. It shouldn't be like rocket science on trying to understand how to accept someone even if they dont like the same things you do. It should be elementary. The fact that he calls himself out too and if you have watched most of Steveo's podcasts, he ALWAYS calls himself out, that takes a HUGE amount of self awareness and courage to be able to recognize our own L's. So keep on moving forward Steveo. My personal opinion, you didnt do anything wrong. You were being yourself and shared things you personally feel. No wrong in that.
