There's a mini-series by a RUclips channel called "Any Austin", where he basically goes around Skyrim deducing the unemployment rates of various cities based on where npc's are at any given time, relative to the locations. Despite it being all a joke, I've always liked the idea of trying to view Skyrim as if it were a real place, and determining whether or not its locations were consistent enough to warrant its existence. I feel like this video pairs up *really* nicely with that idea.
there's also the channel Beerevity which does videos for Genshin impact, some challenge runs but also evaluations of town amenities and infrastructure like if guards are good at their jobs or if taverns are up to code
If you do a part 2 of this, then the home you get at the end of Clockwork is totally worth a look. I don't think i've seen any player home with an interior like it
This should absolutely become a sub-series on its own, the sheer amount of player housing on offer, not only standalone but contained inside bigger mods, leaves so much room for comfy pondering
Y'know, Whitepeak Tower looks like an amazing haunted place in the making - give it a few decades, let stuff rot and fires die, add a lovely ghost or two, and it's gonna be a real nice (and/or dangerous) place to visit. It was a wonderful video, Logan - thank you, and keep on keepin' on, alright? :D
Pianos are also technically percussion instruments because the sound is made by a "hammer" hitting a string. Usually, people will just lump anything similar to a piano like an organ or harpsicord as a separate group of instruments. For example, pipe organs could technically classified as wind instruments.
Your videos are straight up therapeutic, they just wisp me up and draw me in for the runtime and make me forget about everything else for a bit. Thank you for the baller content man, I hope you keep making videos.
My favorite type of "player home" is the hidden in plain sight type of retreat. Like you go into a tavern, make your way to the attic only to find it small, dusty and cramped. Then you walk to a seemingly random wall and move a candle holder which opens a previously hidden room. Going inside, you find the room absolutely tiny but containing everything you need. Not much in terms of crafting and cooking, though. Maybe and alchemy table. If you want food, you get your ass outside and buy it from the tavern your room is hidden inside. The owner knows, or at the very least suspects, that you might be living in their walls but they pretend not to know because you always leave VERY generous tips. That right there is what I yearn for. The closest example I can think of from the top of my head is the room you can buy in the Winking Skeever, which comes with JK's Solitude mod, I'm pretty sure. It's not exactly hidden but it's close enough. My all time favorite house mod is Tiny Living. I dislike a lot of space (in a game) as you don't need it and Tiny Living lives up to its name is it is SUPER cramped but contains just about everything an aspiring adventure would need. Sadly, the author never updated it so the mod is for OG Skyrim only.
this video is exactly what i needed to feel good in this exact moment, and finding it just now felt like opening a christmas present on my birthday. keep doing whatever it is you're doing right now forever
I feel like the GameCube Pikmin games would fit well for an episode of Where are we now. The environments really lend themselves to that liminal feeling and questions about what happened in the past. I think it would be a fun exploration.
Honestly the tardis effect is such a real problem with modded homes. Usually it’s ignorable since the base game has a mild version of this effect solely because you need environments to be about 15-30% larger than what they would be so collision isn’t as much of a problem. Still modded homes take this, and ramp it up to 11 at times. I remember an old house mod for legendary edition which was a manor with a detached bathhouse that was easily double the size of the outside world structure. I will say if you ever do a second version of this, or do other games (like fallout) anything by Elianora is well worth the look. She is the queen of cozy and clutter, and can really make a house feel like a home.
@metronicmagician1816 yeah, it doesn't really bother me most of the time since like you said it's pretty necessary, but sometimes it's too in your face to ignore. And yeah, Elianora is extremely talented!
I think it'd be really cool if you did a video on some of connes TF2 maps that were ported over to Gmod. Despite being abstract maps, they all seem like they're connected together.
Usually Skyrim videos bore the heck out of me but this format worked perfectly for this. Nice and chill to practice classical guitar to. Hope to see more from you again soon
I've not started the video yet and I'm sure it will be awesome, but I'm somewhat bummed out that you didn't feature Clockwork. It's been my all time favorite Skyrim mod for years and would be really interesting specifically in the context of a video like this. I'd really recommend checking it out, even if you don't ever make another Skyrim video, it's just a really cool mod and you should play it.
New Logan From Earth video! And this time i'm not several days late! I'm gonna enjoy this video then come back and edit this comment to give my thoughts on it Wow, Logan has a sternum in this one! Guess that good ol' skyrim magic allowed him you find and re-attach it huh
That “hard work” montage segment made me laugh so hard when you pulled up the console commands because that’s exactly what I do when I feel inconvenienced. My mod list is in the 130s right now and I want to get to the good stuff in my mod list
Oh, if you want to see a fire hazard, check out Moddor's Manor! Just be aware that it can be very crashy, so make a save before installing it, and consider uninstalling it and loading that save afterwards.
I wonder what you're gonna do when you have to cover a game where you can't be a skeleton. Suffer, probably, like I do when I play games where you can't be a skeleton.
"It's a game you can spend more time modding than actually playing" Cries in troubleshooting 300+ mods when 1 of them decides to no longer work. Too real.
I wish my laptop was strong enough to run Skyrim, whenever I boot up the game it immediately shits it's pants and takes 10 minutes to load before promptly crashing.

I’m gonna have to check that out now
i thought this was another anyaustin video in my feed until i qctually saw
such is youtube
there's also the channel Beerevity which does videos for Genshin impact, some challenge runs but also evaluations of town amenities and infrastructure like if guards are good at their jobs or if taverns are up to code
Any Austin is a good channel, I’ve never been fascinated about video game infrastructure until him
god i love direct surveys

I'll for sure consider it, thanks for the shout.

Bro so happy to see Logan still being a Rad Skeleton even in Skyrim. Was hopeing you had used that mod for your character.

I LOVE THE LIVABILITY RATING OF THESE VIDEOS!
WE NEED MORE RATINGS LIKE THIS!
Habie 147 used to do a similar series where he acted like a real estate agent selling modded homes in Skyrim vr. Glad to see something like this again

Hadn't thought about the hammer in there before. That's interesting.
Piano is string, organ is wind.

Logan I did not know you were a skyrim head. I love this video, and would like to see more "could you live here" videos for other video games.
god i love where are we now..... truly best series on youtube god bless you logan from earth
🙏

Never even played Skyrim, barely know anything about it, but i could listen to your voice and writing style commentate over anything for hours
i cant believe you actually made the video i requested. i love you Logan from unidentified floating object in outer space
@prizmatik8696 it's called Earth, show some respect. Jk, thanks for watching :)
this video is exactly what i needed to feel good in this exact moment, and finding it just now felt like opening a christmas present on my birthday. keep doing whatever it is you're doing right now forever
I like how he didn't even mention the dark brotherhood hide out in dawnstar. Truly a terrible town.
This is genuinely my favorite series on RUclips

Thank you for another video!! It was super cozy, I enjoyed it! Maybe I should play Skyrim again...
You should!
I love this series its a niche i dont see anyone on youtube making content for, keep up the good work logan
Thanks bro (flexing arm emoji)
31:00 Those who know: 💀
I image for Whitepeak Tower, they just boil snow for their water
This is such a good idea
I wish I was a successful influencer solely so i could share this channel with as many people as possible
The only thing missing from the review is the sales price =)
24:54 i think is the most amount of vocal inflection i've heard out of all your videos lol
i audibly cheered when i saw this video pop up in my feed, keep it up logan from earth
I needed this. Love your videos. I've listened to this series probably 5 times just in the background

We love a new wawn episode

thanks for the chill vibes, as always

your series makes me wanna find out about maps in games i used to play. stuff like halo or sims or gta. man creator tools just go hard.
This is such a good series. Love all your videos!
Thank you for watching!
You fool. The couriers always get their man.
@jaredrussell4064 They are honestly a lot like the eternal snail thought experiment in that regard. You can run but they keep coming.
skyrim is where i go to ignore human life an admire the capability of animals that arn't human.
Oh, a Skyrim video! As if this channel couldn't get any better. Hopefully it does well so we may see some more in the future.
If you are interested in it, I think it would be cool to see a where are we now video on red dead redemption 2 :)
playlist enjoyers rise up
4000 hours? These are rookie numbers son. 10,280.9 hrs is where it's at for me. By Malacath's hairy toe nails, that's depressing...
It's not depressing to spend your life amusing yourself. That's just what the MAN wants you to think. Keep playing, king ❤

Yeah ain't no way I was grinding all that iron ore and wood logs just for the vid
@ no matter how many times I’ve used it the only ID I still remember is steel
we're so back
Fantastic video! I am a big fan of "where are we now", but its nice seeing you try to branch out to explore stuff other than Gmod.
Yeah, there's plenty more games that the format lends itself to.
Wait a minute... didn't you already upload this like yesterday? Could've sworn so. It even had like 24 views right?
I uploaded it and made it unlisted so I could publish it today. I forgot that people can still see unlisted videos from inside a playlist.
Axe, relax and Paarthurnax.. yeah, I see ya..
Lets see how good bethesda's environmental storytelling really is lol
gypsy eyes caravan is the superior choice of player homes. It's simply the best and most immersive for the wandering dragonborn.
@TheMeatballMan420 ill have to consider it, never heard of it before.
more livability ratings!!!! i love wawn
Oh, if you want to see a fire hazard, check out Moddor's Manor!

This mod looks insane
0:14 cute catto
It's already snowing Where I live.😂
I wonder what you're gonna do when you have to cover a game where you can't be a skeleton.
Suffer, probably, like I do when I play games where you can't be a skeleton.
I like these videos. They are quite entertraining, i could watch them all back to rack easily
In fact, i may even do that right now
lmao back to rack. Thanks for watching
I love wawn

I wish my laptop was strong enough to run Skyrim, whenever I boot up the game it immediately shits it's pants and takes 10 minutes to load before promptly crashing.
Yeahhh. You might consider checking out Oblivion or Morrowind, you might be able to run those.
how can i live in all of these?
Logan from mars
Time to redownload skyrim
You should never have uninstalled it.
am i really the only one here?
Hello, brother
YAY
No! I'm with the science team!
Yes, anyone else you think you hear is just a voice inside your head. Including me. You're insane.
Covering paid mods.. meh
Nope. They are all solely from Nexusmods.
Oh, this video covers the Mod/Creation Club homes…
Shame…
Every single one is available on nexusmods. Idk why you're being weird about it.
Logan's uploads actually make my day
