Looks lovely. Coming over in December for a property search. Already explored Torrevija/La Mata/La Zenia area but maybe looking for somewhere a bit tidier and with an Old Town.
Calpe used to be nice, but not anymore. Higher crime, many high rise buildings, etc. In my opinion poor value for money they ask in this town.

Yes, the town has changed a lot in the last 10 years. The video was filmed on Sunday, after heavy rain, this is why it looks quiet and tidy. Altea is nice, more authentic and relaxed. Denia is bigger, with more locals and a ferry to Balearic islands. Not as charming as Altea. Anyway, it all depends on your location, sometimes even 100 meters makes a big difference.
