Hope this guy sold this bike to somebody that knows what it is. He is a Suzuki Burgman jockey at best. My accountant has one that I maintain. Love the Dyna platform.
If you were smart you'd have kept it. Imagine how many of these were sent overseas. Imagine how many of them have already been ridden into the dirt. Imagine how many of them have been wrecked, lost, parted out, junked. Now imagine how many are left out of ONLY 3,500 ever made. Yes I own one, and no way in HELL am I going to sell it. They're one of the lowest production number Harleys ever made, and someday they're going to be almost impossible to find one for sale. Hell they don't even MAKE Dynas anymore, think about THAT. They're going to be worth a small fortune. Sometimes people just don't think into the future.
William Hollister: Incorrect William, there are many H-D's with lower production than 2006 FXDI35. Just to name a few. '83 FXWDG Willie g model. 601-- one for every dealer 2700--1993 Moo/Cow Glides. Even more rare, were a handful of '85 Shovel Head FLs. They were using up the NOS on the shelves. 1988 FXRT's were under 300. Not including the FXRP's 1988 FLT Tour Glide--848 1991 FLT Tour Glide--787
@@dennymcfastlane8530 Did I not say, "one of the lowest?" Why yes, yes I did, and that statement is correct. Usually a model is produced by the tens of thousands, so anything produced in numbers as small as a few thousand is a very low production model.
Have one very similar and it is a bitch to keep polished. The wax and polish add to the experience. I feel sad watching those flat black bikes. You don't know what you are missing.
True, the Dyna line was the first Harley to get the 6 speed in 2006, everything else was still the 5 speed until 2007. I'm a retired Master Harley Tech. I worked on enough of them to know.
