why i like to walk

what mundane task should i walk an absurdly far distance in order to complete next? my korean sesame mochi bread sadly is yet to be made, but i will make it soon. i hope.
whenever i have gone backpacking for long distances within the wilderness, i have sometimes wondered if people ever go backpacking through the suburbs. i'm not sure. haha. but i thought i might as well try it out and go on a long long walk. i can't really do overnight trips since i don't have anywhere to camp, but day trips will have to suffice.
it's all about the journey, right?

actually, it was 12 miles one way! i was planning to walk 8 miles back to my friend’s birthday dinner and get a ride home with someone there, but my girlfriend just picked me up on the way to the dinner since i wouldn’t have made it on time 😔 i took a lot more foraging breaks than i expected 😅
