    I’m a father of 3 and I can say the way those children approached Dakota was is a testament to his good soul. I really believe the old saying that children and animals can discern a persons soul or intent. Fun fact I was told by a local in Peru the Incan civilization werent actually considered the incans. Only the king was considered an Inca. The Incan civilizations proper name is the Quechua. The Quechua are the true indigenous people of Peru and Quechua is the original language spoken by them as well.

    • @Erica-jn1pq
      @Erica-jn1pq 4 года назад +3

      jason lopez that’s actually pretty cool I didn’t know that

    • @Jbillion7
      @Jbillion7 4 года назад +11

      Erica Its just a misconception. The king or ruler of Cusco was called Sapa Inca in Quechua that translates to “the only Inca” the King was the only one called Inca. His people were the Quechua. The same way we call the natives in Mexico “Aztecs” that is not the name that the Aztecs would call themselves. They would call themselves “Mexica”. This was the name used for them. The same concept applies to the Inca in a way the Inca name was adopted to the entire civilization he ruled over.

    • @HugsmadeDrugs
      @HugsmadeDrugs 4 года назад

      Quechuas are also only 1 of the many indigenous cultures that is now the country of Peru, they are not "the true indigenous", they are a lot more, similar as how the US. has tons of native tribes. It's just that the Quechua were the most succesful peoples in infraestructure and empire building.

    • @Jbillion7
      @Jbillion7 4 года назад

      Scooby dooderino you still haven’t discredited anything I said. When I said “true indigenous” I mean from Peru not anywhere else in the world. The Quechua did not call themselves the Inca they did not consider themselves Incas because only there king was an Inca called the Sapa Inca. We know them as Incas today because of their king. They were Quechua and they spoke Quechua. Your exactly right they are just like the indigenous people of North America however even the Aztecs we know in Mexico did not call themselves Aztecs. Aztecs did not call themselves that they were called “Mexica”. Do some research.

    • @destinyt4031

    The house I stayed at in Peru had a view of the Pisac ruins. I loved waking up to that view. I had such a wonderful time exploring them. I've done the pilgrimage and touched those rocks!
    Lol, I totally got into Pisac ruins for free. Go up the back side. Bring treats and good things to give people in case anyone asks you for a ticket. I reccomend high quality fruits, coca leaves, and organic granola bars. No one will bother you if you hook them up with any of that.
    The terracing takes advantage of the elevation. It's possible to simulate almost every single climate from the equator to high latitudes just by changing elevation. As seasons change the same crops can be grown at a different elevation that allows for it to grow when other elevations do not. It's brilliant!!
    LIDAR has been able to reveal A LOT of what is still buried underground, but it can't reveal everything. There's still plenty of hidden secrets and wonders.
    Bless up Tupac and Blessings to you. Thanks so much. Aw, those kids are so cute. 😍

    Those cuts to make flat surfaces in that mountain side in the first 2 minutes of the video preserve significantly more water then a flat slope would. It also creats more growable land, but most specifically it lets water collect on each level as it rains. It makes a harsh environment for growing food into a much much easier easier environment for food growth, similar techniques are used in regenerative agriculture in quite a few different places around the world (though the same ideas are applied differently depending on the goal)
