Grand Canyon's East Entrance RE-Opening - Thursday April 8, 2021

The East Entrance Gate to the Grand Canyon is Re-Opening Thursday April 8th, 2021 after a year of closure since April 1st, 2020. This will alleviate the current bottleneck that occurs at the South Entrance Gate to the Grand Canyon will while offering the Public Passage on Arizona State Highway 64 from Cameron, Arizona. This also makes it so that Visitors to the Grand Canyon no longer have to retrace their path back to Flagstaff, Arizona in order to go to Horseshoe Bend, Page AZ, Bryce, Zion and Other Points of Interest that are North of the Grand Canyon.
