Yes, once the original hosts of Weekly Idol left it became a much more fun show. There was a time in Korean media when the goal was to make fun of and humiliate idols. 2nd gen was the worst and those two hosts were at the forefront of it. Luckily, towards the end of 3rd gen the mood shifted and it became more about having fun with the idols. Dreamcatcher did have to deal with those hosts once. They went on a show called Idol Room with Everglow. The hosts were older at this point, so they weren't as annoying as they had been before, but it kinda felt like they were bullying Gahyeon throughout and you can tell how much of it was edited out by how many "F" stickers she had at the end though you didn't really see her get all of them. Anywho, that was my rant. Luckily you won't have to deal with them on any of the Dreamcatcher's Weekly Idol episodes. ^_^
I’m kinda glad that I am going to miss that era then! But I did wanna see the Dreamcatcher x Everglow one because someone had recommended it, but not if they were bullying my girl Gahyeon! 🤣

Poor Handong doesn't know anything about Korean Wrestling while Jiu has been doing it for years. All of their appearances on Weekly Idol are iconic. In Episode 522 they performed a version of Goodbye Summer that is still my favorite cover because of the beautiful intricate harmonies in the song.
There is a tradition of holding an athletic competition for idols that has run 2x per year since 2010 called the Idol Star Athletic Competition or ISAC. JiU, Siyeon and Gahyeon did the Ssireum (Korean wrestling) event in 2019, but lost 1-2 to fromis-9 with JiU the only one winning her match. A couple days of training is provided for the various events, but it seems like Siyeon and Gahyeon could not make it. OTHO, DC won gold in the 4x100 relay in 2018 and bronze in 2019. Both Handong and Yoohyeon are strong runners. They have not participated since for a variety of reasons - it's popular but a real grind to shoot for a couple of days.
