I have had 3 years of no problems running my M41 and have recorded just over 53mph. I have never heard anyone else doing this, but I applied some automotive paste wax to the lower hull and sponsons and I'd guess that was good for 2-3 more mph. Great fun and a well made boat!
Hey brotha I seen this boat the other day at the hobbyshop for the first time n it’s huge! It looks way bigger in real life,it’s the sweetest boat I’ve seen! Awesome bro👍👍👊👊📹📹good info, idk anything about the boat game, lol
NICE BOAT. I got mine , recently. Another friend, has his seriously hopped up, and using an AUX, ON,, ALL time, all the time, pump, and it seems to keep the electronics cooler. PROPS? Lose the plastic, and get serious. OCTURA M448, CNC 442 (MY boat), is a smaller diameter prop, and allows the prop to spool up better, and it keeps the system cool. X642 , and X645 , gives you better top speed, but slower out of the hole, and hot electronics. Batteries, ? Go up to a 7600 75 C, and you got a new boat. THE extra C Boost is a kick. Right now, I am hovering in the 48 -52 Mph, mark on good water. AND, thanks , for your review.
@Mark Nickells - I have a completely stock M41 and the GPS showed a best of just over 53mph! I waxed the underside and sides of the hull with automotive paste wax and I'm pretty sure that alone was good for a couple or 3 mph. Great fun! 🚤
How's the boat been running... Been thinking about getting one. Have you had any issues with water in the hull... I was was thinking about putting down a layer of foam in the grooves for the lid... Kinda like PROBOAT does
@@tonyboneize two years late but the hot racing brass prop and drive dog which was $50 is trash! My m41 maxed at 13mph on gps with the "upgraded prop" I regularly get 53mph with stock props but need a new one every other run.

Great video ,get mine tomorrow with the red and white scheme
Excellent, its a fantastic boat
@@d252428q I think I’ll run mine on 4s for awhile
Hey mate U should leave a 5mm gap between the prop collet and blue aluminium with flex shaft as the shaft shrinks underload in the water

This is the best rtr boat I've ever owned
ALL DAY RC I’d love to own one, maybe in the future on my have to have rc list!lol
@Arduino Stein buying a metal prop is the only solution
Really cool color scheme.
Yeah it's nice for a pink boat

You mentioned that you seen a dual cooling set-up not perform quite as well...can you explain more on that.
great video, thank you
Unfortunately in Victoria the water temp is warmer so I have 2 put the duel water system on it
Nice video .... looking forward to the x maxx giveaway
Thanks for the video! What did you use for lighting?
What are the chances you can make a light tutorial. I would love to put lights in the back not can’t find water proof lights? Thank you!

It still runs perfectly. I haven't bothered with foam.
Very nice man. I like that👍👍
Do U find it eats the battery power very quickly
Nice boat !!!
Do you you push the prop axle until it stops ? Or does it need to stick out ?
1mm of play is good

Thank you
@@d252428q Hello great video did you put that washer on there or did yours come like that?
@@terrycrossin9634 thankyou, that's how mine came with the washer.
Mate what's the trick to stop the battries puffing??
Better quality batteries and not letting them run down to low.
Can you please do more videos on this, love the video thanks
Do you you mean the boat in particular or just this style of video.
Thank you for the support
ALL DAY RC both
ALL DAY RC I got the same boat like a month ago and want to see more videos and tips for it
There really isn't alot to say as it's so damn good out out the box. The main think is to make sure that the TSM is turned off.
ALL DAY RC thanks bro, keep up the great work
nice subscribed
Thank you
Hi mate I've just bought one of these is it okay for me too run HRB 11.1 volt 6000mah 50c 100burst????????
Yes definitely
Is the Teflon liner supposed to stick out
It does slightly stick out
My first time on the water I got 2 hairline cracks on my prop. I hit NOTHING. I’m not happy with the props.
Yeah it's a common problem. I go through a lot of props
What’s your opinion on running the same pitch prop but with the brass prop?
@@tonyboneize two years late but the hot racing brass prop and drive dog which was $50 is trash! My m41 maxed at 13mph on gps with the "upgraded prop" I regularly get 53mph with stock props but need a new one every other run.
Nice vid do you still have the boat? Does it still run?
Yes I still have the boat and it runs perfectly.
How hot does the electronics s get after a run?? Or not too bad??
Not too bad but never do more than two runs without leaving it to cool. The batteries get hammered though due to the high discharge rate.
So r U sure 50 C rating will be okay?? I might have to in the future get a higher C rating battery
50c is more than enough
Okay do U find you battries get really hot or do they stay cold????
Do U still have to Spartan??
I sold the Spartan as it needed a lot of money's worth of upgrades just to perform like the M-41
Is the abs plastic really cheap and shitty on these or is it actually fair durable??
It's ok but nothing compared traxxas boats from the 90's
Do these chin walk like the Spartan s??
Do U only have the one set of batteries
No I have 5. Make sure you order spare props as they don't last long.
@@d252428q okay thanks buddy I will Spartan props fit the M41 Il probably get a brass pro I've also got the ones that make them go 10klms faster
The brass prop is good however you might find that you need to upgrade the stock shaft.
I guess as long as I give it a rest after every battery run it will be fine I have a Spartan too so I could run that and rest it why I run the spartan
Yeah that would work
