A few months ago my heart was in a state of breaking open. Yes it hurt, yet I also grew so much. This breakup was different because I faced it. I choose to meditate for 10 days almost immediately after we broke up. For 10 days I didn’t talk, read, write or engage with anything or anyone. It was a huge challenge not to run away from the pain. Yet I persevered and made it out the other end a better human and man. After the meditation I met @jane.santia and we went to a Kava bar where she played me the only song she knew on the guitar. I used those exact chords for this song. A week later I got back home from my long trip and pilgrimage and this song came through me after a meditation. Choice is a big thing. We all can choose how we want to respond to challenge and triumph. Letting go with love can be difficult but long term it is the healing that makes the most change. Thank you everyone who helped create this. Music is so beautiful.
