I'm of the opinion that the balance team gets way more flak than they should and their job is very difficult, but one true point of failure for them is K'sante. They have adjusted him so many times, making him less fun, more clunky, and yet he still remains a broken pro play staple. Now casual fans of the champ get less enjoyment from playing a character who is still incredibly unfun to play against.
it's true that the balance/design team gets way less credit than they should have, but K'Sante is still a massive failure in character kit design that no amount of duck taping can fix. There's no clear counterplay option to remove from his kit; look at reworked Akali for example: there's no counterplay for true invisibility so they removed it, she's too mobile with directional R1 so they removed it, she's too safe with Q heal so they removed it. What about KSante? Apart from number changes, you can't remove anything because everything heavily depends on eachother. Removing Q3 knock-ups means you cannot displace enemies into a wall. Removing E dashes and he cannot get in range to cast anything. You can remove E shield but then what use does the ability have? W reset on ult might seem unnecessary, but the bulk of his damage is allocated there (cuz it's "supposed" to be the most telegraphed and dodgeable skill, like Sett W) and you really need normal W to push enemies into a wall.
I can go on and on, but there's no point. The champ is trash, you can't fix trash, it might look better but it still stinks. On the other side we also have Seraphine who is a failure in character marketing and lore/personality design, shipped out only to catch the KDA trend.
Less balance and more design here, Ksante, Zeri, Yone, and Riven all have fundamentally broken kits that shouldn't be in the game in their current form. Their numbers will all stay low and they will feel awful to play and to play against till they are changed.
Yeah, people who blame riot for any changes know nothing. Balancing is actually really hard, especially these type of champions like Ksante which have big mechanics potential, so players who are good can abuse a lot and that's why they make them bad statwise but that just make the champion unplayable for the standard player and even unplayable for good players too in some cases (like zeri in the state she is right now).
Like riot do a lot of dumb things sometimes for sure, but the K'sante "reworks" are needed until they found the most balance version of the champ, it's a shame that they take out a lot of mobility, mechanics and tools from him but it's neccesary he was extremely broken in good hands.

They get exactly the flak they deserve. Tournaments are always the same 20 champions being played over and over again with no changes. Then they completely destroy the champion and its garbage for some time, and other 20 take over their places, and it goes on and on and on. Kits nowadays are all about unfun broken mechanics that are designed to be horrible to balance. Some league players like to shit on DOTA2 but all heroes have a possibility of being broken, items are broken, but are available to all players AND very situational as well, and everything has a counter, so if you have a good strategy, you can always win

But not all subreddits are like that, there are still selected few that are trust-n-read worthy such as technical issues in IT or dentistry or industrial occupations on tips and tricks and stories to avoid and best practises and do's and dont's that you won't be able to find in an Indian RUclips video or any forum you can think of.
Regardless, LoL-insert-champ-name-here Mains or OTPs subreddits are mostly an amalgamation of abominable individuals who constantly think their champ is under-performed no matter how logical your disavow explanation is to them, and that's why I pledged the OP to try and do that in K'sante Mains sub, which would be a miracle if he can change their mind.

From what I gathered from this video at least, he lost a lot of little tricks and optimizations and stuff, but still gets to run over everything, then go back to full tank at the press of a button...? What exactly was the point?
btw he cant just go back to tank now after ulting, that used to be the case, you could cancel bruiser mode anytime, but now if you ult, good luck, you either destroy or get destroyed, cant just cancel it now🙃
can’t go back to tank form after going all out. even if he is “good”, they made him much more sluggish and less fun to play. he went from one of the more fluid champs to play into one of the clunkiest. Removing auto resets he had, removing w’s controls, and just making him into a stat checker is so disappointing.

what he needs in my opinnion is less peeling worse early better lategame less q earlygame damage less e early shield worse base stats less w stun duration more e range ult vamp scaling with hp again and lower base value and less ult resits shred maybe his w max damage and dash range should be quicker as well rn it deals max damage and has max range at 90% charge time it should be 75% for maybe some w damage nerf instead of 10-100% bonus true damage in ult like 15-75%
His win rate is pretty high at the moment in chall /master+, I think around 14.22 He’ll probably get nerfed if his win rate keeps climbing in high elo, they might step in. SO you know what you have to do .Keep pushing his win rate higher.

It definitely can be considered a small rework. Changed a mobile scaling tank with big skill celling into a less mobile early game stat check that falls off later in the game

if you just sit there and get hit by the most telegraphed ability in the game twice he gets a mid fight level up heal and hits a major powerspike around when your champion is weakest and also dodge none of the abilities sure

It's not like Sett W where your entire body glows and has a fixed 0.75s cast time with obvious ground indicator; you can choose to release KSante W anywhere from 0.4-1.0s and it has a huge hitbox which removes most counterplay options, it doesn't even reward you for hitting the sweet spot because the entire ability hitbox is the sweet spot. KSante has the shittiest champion design and there's no way to fix him apart from removing the entire mess and doing a full rework; you're not telling me that a tank in his basic form can just chase a Jayce with passive and E speed like it's nothing.
@@Briezar he literally cannot angle it at all it's much smaller than it looks and it doesn't do much without charge he hit 2 separate full charged ones in this clip which is why it actually did anything

@@kawaiiempoleon8721 both Ws in the clip were not fully charged at all and Panth was literally behind KSante in the first W. How "smaller than it looks" is it really? And tell me what you would look at to determine where to dodge KSante's all-out W? Unless he W behind then there's ZERO indicator where the ability will land, there's also no sweet spot to dodge the true damage. If that was a Sett, Panth would've sidestepped the true damage sweet spot easily.
Spammable Q slows + gauntlet + E dash means you literally cannot dodge his W unless you have a dash or blink, which should have lower cast time than 0.2 because the average human reaction time is 0.25s; at least Sett's E has a 16s cooldown which gives room for counterplay.

I played him in my first rank game this season thinking i q'ed up for a normal and did not play him since they reworked him a couple of weeks a ago ,i won the game ,but the first time i used the new W i looked like an inter ,since now you cant move it around ,if you choose a direction you are forced to dash in that direction .

Depends on the mage your going against. Any of them that have high mobility like Ahri can be trouble cuz you won't be able to catch her after she hits Lv6. But in general if your able to get good trades while farming then you should do well. If they're playing passively farming then not much you can do like Malzahar.

I would recomended it only against melee AP and maybe AP who lacks damage. Like u can definitely play it against Xerath so u can easily tank him and win prio. Not recomended against control mages (anivia, syndra, oriana,etc.).

I laned against one yesterday as teemo and he built 3 armor items and I still dealt him no damage with 2 and a half ap items.
i consider ksante like the tank version of aphelios. No matter how often i fight against them, i still have no idea what it is that they're doing, but my lifebar is magically disappearing. Sometimes i win, sometimes i dont, but it was seldom calculated outside of "ok i saw them use a cooldown, i can go in now". I cant push, or he'll pull me into the turret, i cant turret hug, or he'll pull me away from the turret, its just all very confusing for me lol. I'm just glad i picked the game back up during a time he wasnt that popular.
Also seeking Ksante at low HP during their ult means nothing😂, might aswell not see his HP bar

His abilities are extremely straightforward, the problem is that he can spam them to hell and back
@@Roflmao6173 I think in practice he's probably straightforward once you understand him, as most tanks are. But his w is very literally 3 paragraphs of text. His ult is 5 paragraphs of text, and has a separate effect on his other abilities. Not to mention all of the situational "if x happens then you can use this move differently" in his kit. To say he's "extremely" straightforward is disingenuous when champs like darius, nasus, and malphite exist.
You should probably play ksante so you can understand him then.

You can see a lot of crazy champions that are busted when people main then, but for this you only need the basics. K'Sante 100% deserve a braindead certified.

No they're not. Aurora might be able to but still at a disadvantage.
Fiora is like Sion/Fiora match-up. Unexpectedly, K'sante has an adjustable-time skill in his kit(W) just like Sion(Q). So K'sante destroyed her in every scenario except he got outplayed under her turret.
Gnar can't fight him at all. The only thing that he can do is juking in the turret range. Which I'd not consider it a counter-pick.

One of the reason why Jacob Crouch got fired, he made K'Sante, Smolder, these champs literally dogshit, I mean just look at K'Sante, he got 4 quantillion adjustments, "reworks", and still one of the broken champs in the game, they just can't balance him, atp they should fully rework him, bc if they touch his code, he becomes broken or more broken.
You know a champ is clunky when you can Q->Flash but can't Q3->Flash. Are there even other champs like that? I know for sure Yasuo/Yone/Aatrox can Q3>Flash.
