Howdy, live in Springfield Missouri going to be in Busselton in March 2025 visiting my friends who in grew up with in Perth. My mum is the Aussie and I’m sure I’ve relatives farming some where around you? Lol
Is it possible for Brian to put a Stick up load on after hours and be first truck in at opening time then back on farm earlier? Just asking as not sure how it all works. Really liking these harvest videos 👍
That’s what we have been doing when he gets caught out with time. But it still so slow to get through cbh in town and instead of getting out at 6:30 it’s more like 10:30
He is running the maximum length trailers he is allowed down here. When you go north they allow full length triples and even quads on the roads but not allowed that down here
Hey, honest question, why do you not have tops on the field bins? Do you not need to cover when rain comes or they get emptied too fast to worry about it?
Not really much need for them. If it does rain it didn’t raise the moisture of the grain in the bins. We do shuffle grain around of our rains a if out suits for too long it can start to go tank at the bottom but the rest of the grain is fine. You can also fill these bins up more than what you can a bin with a lid on it
Smoke test will find the air leak. Towards the end of the video the FLIES!! There are a bunch of flies there. Is that normal?? You would think something could be done with SO many of them.
Hey John, if you turn the can upside down and give it a spay when you finish it cleans the nozzle.
You have to turn the can upside down and give it a shot after use to keep the tips clear.
Love the drone shoots
Great videos Brian.
Love the videos keep it up
Previously you took us viewers on a trip to the silo’s in Brian’s Western Star, could you arrange a silo trip in the Volvo? 😊
Volvo has gone to another job
Good view thanks
the reason why you bag make sense the distance from the CBH point would mean you need xxx number of trucks great vid

great idea of opening a shop im sure someone can help out.
You mention you and Henry growing taches and the rest of the team. Aren’t the rest of the team ladies?
Good harvest video again John see your training Dexter on emptying the bins there is better ways to get protein than eating flys😂
Nice camera work!
Do you have many issues with bags splitting
👍
Hey, just wondering how do you go about emptying the grain bags, can we see a video on that if possible?
There are a few videos from last year on how we get the grain out of the bags. Watch debagging has started and that will show you what you are after

@ must be so frustrating for everyone involved, millions of dollars tied up in queue and the extra outlay and work involved in bagging.
I think you should give away an autographed picture of Brian and his truck to a Movember donator.
Good idea 👍🍻
quick question do you know why Brian does not run a triple but 2.5 trailers?
He is running the maximum length trailers he is allowed down here. When you go north they allow full length triples and even quads on the roads but not allowed that down here
ah i did not know in the different areas the max lengths are different
Only allowed up to 36.5m and must maintain correct axle spacings too.
Use a permanent marker pen instead of spray paint?

Why don't you use grain wagons with belts like in the USA.. ????Thomas Denmark🚜
What was that barley yielding? And how many tons a hour do you do ? Depending on conditions.
I think he said last video it was running 3.5t/h or about 65bu I believe.
Did you ever get your John Deere air drill yet?
Yep the drill is in boxes in town, bin is still on its way
Nice! Can’t wait to see it!
Why you not using your truck ??

There are so many this year!!! It’s bloody crazy and very very very annoying!
@tomsbrookfarm my son did a harvest over near Goolgowi one year and said he learned the Aussie salute real fast!!
Yeah bad this year.. ended up getting a hat net, does the job well.
Dymark spray paint is far superior
10:37 to 16:22 non farming Movember spiel
