I was there for this, it was like nothing I've seen before. Absolutely incredible.
I always enjoy the fireworks and that was crazy to see when I was on 6 tabs of acid! Gotta love it

This is crazy, I can barely get one drone to fly. I find this so fascinating how each drone is programmed to do what it needs to. Amazing!!
Defiantly one of my highlights from EDC and something i will be telling people about for years to come!

Knowing nothing about drones, this to me is like magic, I don’t know how they do it, it is incredible.
The tech is amazing, from the placement of the battery to choice of RTK antenna. But the teamwork and energy is awesome, such great dedication and hard work all!

Beautiful. The first ever drone show I've seen was at the Olimpic opening ceremony in Beijing.
My head explode just thinking of the complexity of the programming these drones to fly in sequence and not colliding with one another.

how cool would it be to have an app, that you the viewer can SEE via a camera in the drone. You the viewer are now in the drone looking down or out at another drone....you don't control the camera view, but it's programed to show the other drones from it's location, and scan the skies and crowds watching. You are looking at the drones looking at you

Mildly interesting technology behind the show. Controlling 600 drones over radio is in my knowledge an impossible task with the latency requirements taken in the consideration. So the show is most likely preprogrammed at launch and there must be some nanosecond scale onboard clock synchronisation happening. Still it amazes me how these drones move in close patterns without crashing into each other as GPS is not always reliable. Just wow!
How they control these drones with that kind of accuracy..
It look like a Sci fi movie's seen..
Now this is what is called innovative.. Using tech to make people feel a lot better without too much cost on their side..
