You both are a cute couple. Nothing you can’t accomplish. Kudos to both of you. Awesome job. 🌸

Wow, what an awesome project !! Have you thought about maybe a solar mister for both kiddos and orchids/vine during the summer? Can you add some Mokaras or sun loving Vanda types ? Hope that helps. Love your content !! Keep them coming!!❤

Hi, you know the orchids you like, I would pick my favorite colors and mix and match and also based on a Blooming time so hopefully you will have as much as color is possible 😊

There was a speaker at my local society a few months ago talking about Brazilian Cattleyas and he was saying that there are Brazilian Catts that live in full sun on top of cactuses and fence posts. I wish I could remember which species but I think purpurata, walkeriana and some former Laelias. The speaker was Francisco Miranda. I just checked Miranda's site and there isn't anything listed for sale right now but they might know some good Catts for that space.

I’m working on a job that I can snag y’all some orange jasmine from! It’s an awesome shrub/hedge/ small tree! It will get big enough and has bark that’s good for mounting orchids on too!

Im feeling some brassavola, brassocattleya, maybe with some dendrobiums. Ive always liked the skinny pendulant clusters of those orchids. Maybe some encyclia type towards the bases in those baskets you made already. If you can picture that..

I think you should do some Myrmecophila and some cigar orchids! Shape wise they will look whne not in bloom and when in bloom they look fo beautiful adorning that space!

How about some kind of non-invasive (or minimally-invasive) climbing vine? Something that could be easily maintained to not block sight lines. Passionfruit vine?

    What about Ansellias?
Regarding the deer, can you put a single strand electric wire above the fence? When I was living in Virginia and needed to protect my small nursery from the armies of deer, I did this. They jumped over it without a second thought.
I figured they needed a stronger 'introduction' to the zapper. So I hung metal foil squares every 3 feet or so from the wire. And THEN, I smeared each one with peanut butter. You could probably use jelly too 🤣.
The think about deer is they like to sample anything new. That's why it's so hard to find a totally deer-proof plant.
All I needed them to do was touch their noses to the foil squares. And they did. And it worked.
