Mid-Week Homestead Update

It’s a beautiful evening so why not a mid-week update? We have lots of broody hens on the front lawn and baby bunnies getting out on grass for the first time. Spring makes everyone feel good!

I like the individual pens for the moms. It would help a lot with chicken math. Lol but What do you do with them all during the winter time?

We don't have broody hens in winter. By late fall, we stack the cages in back. All the chickens stay in the barn coop. The rabbits, however, stay in the cages year round. They are very comfortable in their fur coat!
