This is super helpful. When I die against single taps, I used to think, "I have to be faster; that's how good players play". Now I see that professionals aren't expected to 95% single-tap. A single-tap is still an accomplishment for a pro! Thank you for helping me set expectations!
It was very interesting to hear from a pro what is typical to different ranks. In matchmaking there is still serious problem with cheaters and it is really is to notice that if cheater is really low ranked player, but owning everyone because of assists.
In fact the difference between the global and pro are being gamesense and good cooperation with teammate, and knows good stuff and to predict where they were to appear, not all pro has good aims
When you hit a certain level aim gets kind of secondary because everyone is very good. The difference between a very good pug player and a pro is in the details, such as team play, map knowledge, rotations, mental strength, etc.
Lava is in his comfort zone set up, and cs go is more about tactics and teamwork than aim. Duppreh lost doesnt mean hes a bad player. But shoutout to lava hes such an amazing player, even capable of taking down duppreh himself. Amazing videos and play from all players
dupreeh is a role player, his job is to set up a senario for his team to win, unlike most awpers and high level entry fraggers like prime stewie or XANTARES.
Ive noticed that a lot of high elo faceit players have better mechanics than a lot of pros, simply because they grind it so much, where pros spend more time coming up with strats etc. There are a lot of pros with really good mechanics, like s1mple, XANTARES, NiKo etc, but they also play a lot in their free time, like DM and FPL and stuff, where the guys from astralis don’t play FPL, other than bubzkji and xyp9x.
potato patato all excuses for an entry like dupreeh losing to a no namer lvl 1o faceit is actually bad since his team and him have been at the very top of csgo including him being in the top 20 so yeah no wonder astralis has gotten so bad now full of average has beens
kinda cool to see some of the strats the different ranks use, like the ak ranks now moving cover to cover to switch it up, oppose to just standing there lol
I think really just switching it up, waiting just 20-50% longer but no more behind cover before NOT REPEAKING but appearing the other side of jumping over the top in 1v1s where they know where you are, just little things to throw them off help massively. It's also nice to see how every rank each player is just plain better than the last, it's not just their game sense its everything. Which indicates, yes gamesense and stuff is the most important but even where raw gunfighting ability matters, they can clearly be improved as seen here. And hey, apparently once you get to the top 1% you can go toe to toe with the best, even if this guys obviously not actually a pro just being able to go toe to toe like that would be enough for me. Also also, I should show the end of this to my teams to show how impossible it is to 1v4 in clutch scenarios, so just fricken rush, super simple but it'll gain you +1>2% winrate on average per round I'd bet. Also*3, the final match against everyone show you that you shouldn't get cocky like in his earlier matches, giving them enough time to figure him out without gaining enough of a lead allowed them to catchup and win, so if you find yourself in one of the situations like he was in earlier matches messing around, don't (I mean in this case it was for content in order to not make the video hilariously dry but still, that wont be me or you and even if it is, make it very deliberate, not a distraction keep your focus, I would say OK, if I get a 3 point lead on my friend I'll allow myself 1 meme, then no more until a 7 point lead etc.).
@@f4llenhite955 Well, the competition isn’t that high neither, because the “better” players play face it and esea… Therefore it is easier to become global in matchmaking, and the general skill level is much lower.
I would've loved to see my friend play against Dupreeh. I'm considerably good especially at aim maps and I would get slaughtered 4-16 or 6-16 against him (MGE in my prime when I would play my friend). He's an S in ESEA and semi-pro but I've never played against anyone as good in an aim map, specifically that exact map. It'd be fun to watch him get a chance to prove himself against someone who has what he's trying to obtain which is a professional status.
Problem is Global is a super super wide category. If you get two Eagles or two Gold novas, they're usually not too far apart from other eagles / novas, else they rank up / down. once you hit Global, you have your ok Globals, your good globals, and the ones that will zero your whole team out in a round without blinking. interesting to see that even a pro was having a somewhat even match against an MG, makes me feel a little better about myself xD

just goes to show mechanics aren’t what separates globals from pros. it’s several intangibles and 5v5 game sens against high level competition. plus they can do it on stage with millions of eyes on them with their livelihood at stake. it’s actually crazy how wide the skill gap can be between a given aim-god global and your average pro.

I also used to aim map against "Sunde" and "face" among lots of other cs1.6 pros and CLAP them(but that's been like 10-15+ years) but a good aim map player means very little in an actual match.
