    I think our brains work in similar ways... easily distracted by the next cool project, long lists of things to do, and may I say beautiful work all lined up in perfectionistic ways. 😁 A blessing and a curse. Hope to see more soon! Glad we found you!

    Beautiful Hog Wire trellises! You did such a great job! The redwood is my favorite! Do you have an update on the fence out front? Just wanted to see the after.

      Hi Jan! Thank you so much. We have not done the front yard fence yet...still toying with design ideas, project priority, time and budget. But we definitely haven't forgotten about it! Just today however, we finished and installed 5 more of these trellises for our other channel "What's Up In The Garden" (we'd love for you to check out that channel too!) The full detailed build video will be here on my channel though. Thanks for watching!! :)🙂

    Just stumbled across your videos looking for trellis inspiration, great videos! What are the metal spikes in the ground that you screwed the trellis to? I have a spot with not that much dirt for posts but I’m looking to make a privacy fence and I think those might work.

      those are long steel stakes used for various things. Home depot has them, i think these were 36-inch. Next week i'm finishing filming another trellis video, but it will still be a few weeks before the edit is complete. Hopefully you'll stick around and see that project as well!🙌🏻

    Hey Seth, do you have the video of the Hog Wire gate you created?

    • @stuffsethmakes
      @stuffsethmakes  3 года назад

      no, i'm sorry i don't. i built that prior to deciding to give RUclips a shot. I'll be making another at my property before long. Hopefully you'll consider subscribing and then you'll see when that project drops! 👍🏻

      @@stuffsethmakes Absolutely will sub. 1 QQ re: Hogwire. Can I use a nail/staple gun to secure the hogwire to the part of the gate that isn’t visible v creating a groove on the fence frame?

    • @stuffsethmakes
      @stuffsethmakes  3 года назад

      i'd say totally. I'd also say it's personal preference. If you're going to cut your hogwire down to size, you may need to grind the cut points so they're flush with the bar that runs perpendicular because you'll want that bar to sit flat against the wood, then you can shoot the staple. Does that make sense? You could also staple it from the backside if you were placing them against a fence and the back wouldn't necessarily be seen. Now you've got me thinking about doing a video about doing this different ways, haha! Thanks for the idea!👊🏻
