Like most Gojira, the music is incredible but the lyrics are the real prize. One enhances the other. “I... will bring no... material to the afterlife... take no possessions... I would rather travel light..” Who says that? Gojira.
great video man , just loved the way you reacted to the song ( one of their most difficult to get into ) Gojira's music is often called "organic" or "primitive" in the good sense.please react to "the heaviest matter of the universe" and "flying whales" both tracks are on the "From Mars To Sirius" LP - one of their best -
Hell yeah! Great choice! Been a while since I listened to that album, but Ouroboros is another great one on that album, along with Esoteric Surgery. But this this another textbook Gojira track. Heavy, melodic, progressive, post-metal hints. Definitely a banger. Definitely check out Through Silver in Blood, by Neurosis. It is 10 minutes long, but I have a feeling you'd get really into the heaviness, tribal, and grimy nature of it. You may be so engrossed into it, that you won't feel the length (or maybe you will! If you're not engrossed into the apocalyptic sounds, you may feel the length).
@@owenjacobs65 Tool and NIN are my #1 and #2. Neurosis is right behind them for me. They're a sludge metal band, who also pioneered post-metal (I believe Gojira is one of a ton of bands influenced by them). With Neorisis, you could be entranced by the atmosphere helped provided by their synthesizer one moment, then absolutely crushed by their heavy instrumentation the next. Through Silver is the kind of song you could listen to, and run through a wall. Then get buried underneath an apocalyptic atmosphere at the end. If you want a shorter, less intense song, try out Locust Star. And if you liked that, I'd highly recommend Through Silver. I've been pulling for Through Silver, since a RUclipsr already reacted to Locust Star, and I think Through Silver deserves a reaction from SOMEONE. lol

I fair decently with long tracks because of my love for Tool :) Just has to have a good vibe.
