Belgrade is such a nice city! We just got back recently, and already posted our first of a five part series as well. The Balkans in general are amazing, but we couldn't believe how friendly and welcoming everyone was. Looks like you guys had a great time as well!
Awesome! We just checked out your video and I’m amazed they’ve still got their Christmas tree up 😂 people are very friendly and the food is very good too! We’ve subscribed so excited to see your adventures 👍
@@AshAndDan. Hahaha. The Serbians in our comments let us know that Christmas in Serbia is on January 7th because they celebrate by the Julian calendar, so it makes a bit more sense..but we were so confused at first. Almost every shop had decorations all over, and we were there January 25th! We'll give you guys a follow as well. 🍻

You’re welcome, it’s a great place with great people! Serbia was an amazing place to visit and we have a lot more videos about Serbia to come 👍thanks for watching.
It’s an incredible and interesting city! I think we will definitely be back one day to explore more 😀 I hope you visit one day! You won’t be disappointed! Thanks for watching 👍
We had an awesome time! Really enjoyed seeing Belgrade and adventuring into western Serbia to see the nature. Stay tuned for a lot more Serbia videos to come 👍 thanks for watching
across the Moscow hotel is Albania palace (named after old Albania kafana or old coffee house), and further down the street is London area, with former London hotel. In Belgrade city center there is old Bristol hotel and Queen of Greece building too
In the place of that green market (around 6:00) there will be a metro station on the line 1, construction is planned to start in the next 2-3 years, and also green market will be renovated.
@@AshAndDan. Metro station will be underground, but green market will be temporarily moved to other location until construction finish. It will not be closed, it will actually look better and with better conditions.
That’s good news! Some of the market stalls have probably been there for years and years and would be sad if they had to close due to a metro! But at least they are not really affected as it is underground 👍
We do cross the river when we return to Belgrade but you will need to wait for that vlog to be released! We stay in Hotel Jugoslavia and have a great experience there 😀 thanks for watching 👍
Thank you! Your gonna see a lot more Serbia videos to come! We go to Novi Sad then pick up our car and travel through the western part 👍 thanks for watching
We did do this and were really impressed with the new ‘Soko’ train! Incredible fast and modern way to travel! And Novi Sad was a beautiful city but unfortunately it was a little wet when we were there. We have more Serbia videos to come 👍 thanks for watching 😀
And also if u into sports Zvezda plays euroleague basketball in friday now. If u r on budget then go to Zvezda football match in saturday (free entrance)
We did manage to go to the Partizan euroleague game which we made a video on our channel you can check out! The football season was off but one of my dreams is to see a Zvezda football match in the champions league! The atmosphere looks incredible 👍 thanks for watching!
Hagia Sophia is awesome - and so is Istanbul ❤️ we’d love to go back, especially for the food! There’s no better breakfast than a Turkish breakfast for sure! Thanks for watching 👍
@@AshAndDan. Oh i didn't know you also came to İstanbul, i didn't see it in your videos. Also the food you ate in the video like börek and the meatballs are coming from the turkish cusine. If you visit here again let me know.
I disagree. This Brutalist architecture is similar to the Soviet Union, so yeah, it is Communist architecture. You can find some Brutalist architecture with concrete in the UK, but we did not model the UK. We were, by ideology, closer to Communism.
They showed the different architectures well, it is a big mix and match of various styles. Many of the buildings which were destoyed during ww2 were rebuilt in a brutalist fashion instead of re built in their former glory.

It’s something we enjoy doing so that’s the main point of it all 😀 Belgrade was awesome! I don’t think many British and certainly not Scottish people visit each year so hence the surprise. In Orthodox Christianity there are no Cathedrals, only Churches. Cathedrals exist only in Catholic Christianity. Pls correct.
