When I first started watching your videos, I bought the large Artist's Loft book from Michaels because I wanted to be like you. 😊 I quickly discovered that I do not have the amount of manual dexterity that you have, so that wasn't the best option for me. I tried composition books, etc., but have finally landed on the Grumbacher Mixed Media books from Walmart. They come in all sizes and the absolute best part (for me, anyway) is that you can take the pages out and put them back in! These books have a little thing on the front cover that says "in & out pages" with a few little demo photos. I can take a page out, glue to my heart's content, trim the edges without having to turn a whole book around, upside down, etc., and then simply put the page back in. Winner, winner, chicken dinner!!!!!
I started a big random glue book with my grandma. It gives her something to do and uses up her magazine stash. Its a really fun thing for us to do together.
I started a big random in October after watching a few of your videos. I went with the pink one from Michael’s and absolutely adore it! I’ve completed 6 spreads in between other projects. I’m getting better as my collection of squares and fussy cut items grows. Thank you for introducing me to it!! Love your art!!
I have a random composition gluebook I started and was just doing one side of each page mainly with a full sheet background then gluing and embellishing. WELL... between the composition book one you did 3 days ago and this one, I started using the blank pages and gluing sqaures/rectangles. Still getting the hang of it, but I have tons of square/rectangle images andI want to use them. Yay!! You rock!
