I’ve had a plan in my head for many years (we’re the same age, Jerry) for a bullet trap that is a square funnel going into a vertically mounted pipe (my first effort at a bullet trap, in 1976, was less than ideal). Glad to see your square funnel into a horizontal pipe has stood the test of time. Now that I have retired, and I have seen your trap, I’m inspired to get off my butt and build one. 😀

I enjoyed this video way more than I should. Nice switch up from shooting videos. This reminds me of the trailer my father made in the early 50's from the back end of a pick-up chassis - I grew up with him hauling everything in that sucker. He made tons of them for his buddies from old Crosley 45's too, and got to where he could get one home from the junk yard before dinner, and go out after and finish it before bed. His best creation was a stripped down drag car from a Crosley, used a gallon can with a Schraeder valve to pressurize for fuel, no pump. Set and held a Class C record at the local Chicago drag strip for many years. It was so light, he and his buddy lifted onto the roof of his '41 Buick and lashed it to the bumpers to carry to the races.
