Super Robot Wars V (EN) - Getter Robo Armageddon Final Fight (Stage 47)

When the invaders attack a Gamillas planet, Melda summons Tenku to help protect the planet. As the battle with the invaders continue, Cohen and Stinger arrive in a new monstrous form. Unfortunately for them, Shin Dragon and Shin Getter are able to achieve the Shin Shinespark attack and one-shots them though they soon regenerate. The Yamato also gains the use of its Wave Motion Gun and it needs to be used at least once during the stage to unlock the IF route later on.
After all the invaders are defeated, Kodai and Yurisha go down to the planet to search for Mori but find a dying Ito instead. News of Ito's death upsets most of crew of the Yamato and natives of the New Correct Century dimension.

Okita authorized the Wave Motion Gun...at this point the Invaders were screwed here.
Also Banagher ripping and tearing into Stinger and Cohen is pretty brutal if you think about it. And Shinji actually getting angry at these two...sweet.

considering that fact that Final Getter Tomahawk combo attack is not being used anymore, would've been more fitting to have the Yamato's Wave Motion Gun delivering the finishing blow on Stinger and Cohen.

Are you going for a no upgrade run? Your Gundams aren't hurting Cohen and Stinger at all.
(Shinn of all people have dialogue specific for Cohen and Stinger though...Kenichi Suzumura you're really becoming like Hikaru Midorikawa, giving so many extra lines for your characters)

Initially I thought you were doing so little damage to enemies up to this point cause it was on hard... though now it makes a lot more sense. Do you just not like upgrading for the challenge I guess?

At 250 EN a shot, is the Wave Motion Gun the most expensive weapon ever or not?

So, all you need to do to get the IF route in this game is use the Wave Motion Gun once in this stage? Or are there other requirements?

You also need at least 25 Ace pilots and 1 Great Ace pilot

On a completely different subject, I recently learned that the design for the monstrous Stinger/Cohen Invader was actually derived from another Ken Ishikawa manga, _Kyomu Senki_ .
