Great run! What other tracks are in so cal now? I know thunder alley and this one. I lived in HB but moved to AZ right before OCRC shut down. I’ll be moving to south OC late January and want to get back to racing!
So many! The Dirt in Perris. Freedom Park in Camarillo. Palm desert has a track. Channel Islands. Revelations in Montclair. And thats just 1/8th scale! Then theres Rainmans in Bakersfield. Coyote Hobbies in Victorville. SDRC in San Diego. Controlled Chaos in Palmdale. Check out the Jimmy Babcock Racing League. They have a race at all the tracks in SoCal. This video was actually taken during a JBRL event at Hot Rods! Not sure why you're moving BACK to SoCal but welcome back. Haha.
@@JohnnyBlau right on. I got into 1/8 racing while I lived in Havasu. Moving back because there is good money to be made and I’ll have very low overhead this time around. I’ve lived quite a few places now and honestly the great weather and access to almost anything you need near by makes coming back to SoCal worth it. I’m sure the traffic and rude people will get to me faster than I’m telling myself they will.
Heck yeah! So glad you posted this! I was there this day (I can even see myself in the background lol). My first JBRL! I do the club races here every Tuesday and Saturday. Was awesome watching you run the track, definitely made me change some of my race lines. I run an Associated B3.2 with the AD2 engine, the thing screams but I feel like I can get a little more out of it. Was contemplating asking you for quick tuning advice but didn't want to be a bother. I'm a huge nitro newbie so your videos help a lot! Anyway, had a blast this day and hope to hit up more JBRLs in 2023. Keep on keepin on!
Wish more 1/8 races went back to these bullring style tracks...small tracks like this put on the best racing IMO!! DNC while under extenuating circumstances was one of the best r/c races I've seen in years!
They realy put a lot of good track features in a very small space. Great track design
I miss my hometown track!! Jimmy is a legend in SoCal.
That looks like a lot of fun!
Adam, I just got my first mugen nitro and I've been studying your videos non stop. Your the man!
I love watching these I wish the track local to me let nitro run there still
