  • Unboxing and Complete Feature-How-To of the Honeywell Digital Safe 5113.
This safe was $86 shipped from Amazon, and is a digital safe, with a Key
mechanism that is "hidden" in case of emergency.
It has hidden hinges for better security, is made of Steel, and has .50
Cubic Feet of space. It is 22.7 Pounds.
In this video I Unbox, and then go into every feature, even a few features that are not in the manual
including how to turn off the beep, how to enter your code privately, etc.

How does it know difference between when you are trying to change the code and when someone is breaking in?

How do you reset your code. I followed the instructions but it says turn key to the right and it only goes left. Kinds stuck with the manual which the instructions don’t make sense versus what can be done with the safe.

Hi, may i ask how you change your safe code? I don’t know what code I input. I thought I put the right code but turns out it isn’t the code that i meant to put.

Who has this safe? Who has a similar sized safe that you can Pop the top of it and easily open it (making it well, "unsafe") ?
This one I've had for over a year now, and the way it's designed where you put in the code (not manual turn mechanism) - prevents that. It also prevents a person from resetting it from a hole in the back -- and the other "common" easy methods of cracking / opening the safe. Other than spotting the "emergency" key opening that is covered (for if batteries die, or you forgot code) -- and being able to pick locks --
Anything short of taking some serious powertools to the safe to get into it won't work. Most people who know about the popping of safes to open them also are beneficially lazy.. in that if it takes real skill or work (or shows evidence of opening/tampering) they won't do it.
So you have two main options.
    1) Buy a safe in this price range, and I recommend this one for security reasons.
    2) Spending 5-20 times the cost of this safe for a manual combination type lock safe, which is great, but also expensive. As long as it's not one of the pop the top and it's open type of safes I'm more than satisfied with it's security and convenience.
Anyone own this safe, anyone purchased or considering purchasing one after watching this video?
