r33 is properly rated tbh, 32 and 34 are just better looking and more iconic

How does know what oem is original on these cars. Look at how the swaps go just between Tommy's and Adams channel. OEM doesn't mean numbers matching. Still very cool. By looking at the R33 it has it's own niche making it as iconic as the others.

Alot of people don't like them but the 33 is definitely my favorite Skyline of all.. I just love the shape. I can't wait to see it done. 💪🇭🇲
It's my favorite too, it's pretty much a R32 that just looks more '90s in a way, the R32 is a progression from 80's to 90's design, and the R33 is the finished version in my mind. I was never really a huge fan of the R34, it looks very cool but I prefer the more classic look the older models have.

Keep it stock. Dont swap or mod Its worth a lot. Its refreshed tuned and rare. And you can just buy another one wit higher miles to mess with since you want to swap and mod.

I remember in 2013 there was a wreckers yard in Dubai where I live full of 2jz, RB26s etc. There was a Nismo R2 complete engine with ECU, Nismo dampers, Nismo MFD/cluster etc etc for around 13k USD. My R34 GTR cost 20k USD back then so I passed on that deal..... I regret it everyday😪

Adam needs to do an rb30 build! Hopefully the r33 gets a 6 speed too.
Takes alot of time and money to build an RB30 that makes more power then an RB26 or stroker RB28. They should make more torque down low tho...
@@Herbsy420 not really. Built 1 myself years ago. 26dett head on a 30e block will be a monster plus the mods he would be doing anyway. Prp sell blocks pre prepped. And im sure adam could afford it.
@@reidonz5848 Without bracing and balacing you wont get the numbers out like rb26 does. Ofc, with bracing you can and far exceed rb26 numbers. And yes Adam can afford to do so, but is it worth? idk... Think its cheaper to build a RB26 to +1000hp then an RB30, but it would be cool!

FINALLY! I've been waiting for so long to see a forever R33 on your channel. Kinda low-key love that the R33 is the last, so you can use your collective experience to make it into what it deserves to be!
Crazy cool! But actually the refresh was probably done in May of 2001, in Japan and Europe for dates we use months first and years last, so 05/01 would mean may 2001, and 17/01 could be week 17 of 2001, that would be last week of April, probably when the engine got done and finished the next week so it was may when they did the plaque
17/01 is in japanese calendar, Heisei 17 which is 2005

Get a r- 35
Quick polish is a finishing product, not intended to remove deep scratches. You're unlikely to burn through the paint with that pad unless you're really trying.
You want an agressive cutting compound and an orange pad for scratches like that, and far slower passes. Having said that, if you don't know what you're doing you will easily burn through the paint.
You can add the feeler gauges together for bigger gaps. Ie: .030 + .010 to get to .040
Series 3 R33s are so clean. The front lip makes such a difference in filling out the front end.
you can add 2 or more feeler gauges together and them add up the total if you don't have one big enough

Yo. Love the cars. When tightening clamps like that on boost pipes, grab a 5/16 or 8mm nut driver to ensure maximum snugness.
i was in a 200 person chat watching the australian cyclone last week and you popped in and wished everyone well i found that amazing good on you
Back in the day they used to get 430hp stage 1 tune which was 1 bar boost full exhaust ecu tune and rotating the standard cams which made the car have more power down low mid range and rev to 9000 rpm.People dont believe it’s achievable with stock cams stock turbos and stock intercooler etc but it is i had that tune and i ran a 11.8 on the quarter at 112 mph

You have every size you need with a feeler gauge you can stack the sizes
Life is nice when you blow up on RUclips good for you I remember when you did BMX that’s what I subbed
Don’t want to flare up you OCD but there is also a crease/dent on the passenger door closer to the hinge side
I would also check/clean the injectors, especially since it sat for a while. It just might not have a good spray pattern to atomize the fuel properly and might be just enough to crack the 400 hp mark.
If the scratches are too deep. Try puting some clearcoat in the deepest scratches and wetsand. It could work. Maybe get it to 90% 🤷🏻 Worst case if it hasn't gone through to the base coat, you could probably just matte it down and put another layer of clearcoat on the entire hood.

I wondering a a lashing fell from an upper deck down onto the hood of your car when it was on the RORO ship. Suck that the hood got damaged, but the car is so clean and awesome. Congrats on your R32. R33 and R34 GTR collection.

Those brass restrictor pills were common on 90s Imprezas too and out of a whole batch of them, the bores were different sizes due to drill wear during machining so power levels varied for that reason too.

I might have only removed the white writing on the windshield & left the gold/yellow writing, for Import cread! lol Can you buy a car & not Modify it?? it's Perfect the way it is!!!!

400bhp the date it was built is May 2001. the R34 S-tune R-tune & Z-tune were built in 2004/2005

I know people call them a boat but the R33 has always been my favourite Skyline. More modern and aggressive than the R32 but more sleek and subtke than the R34, id either go with one of these or an old school Hako.
I do agree the 4 door ones are a bit boat-ish but thats normal, i cant think of any car where the 2 door coupe doesnt look better
