Teacher: Say, anyone know how many calories does an elephant consume daily? Student: About 100 more times than a dwarven mechanic. Teacher: **visible confusion**
Theoretically, the burgers/baguette are 660 calories each, as they fill 100 hunger, and 100 hunger lasts for 55 minutes while sprinting, and the average calories burned per minute sprinting is about 12, and 55 * 12 = 660.
I hope pancakes will be in the game too. OMG, available in 4k??? That's why i bought the most expensive display! Quality content creators are needed, keep up the good work!
Thanks, 00fant has added quite a few food items in his mod. Maybe he will add pancakes one day:) All my videos are 4K because I record in 4K as well. 4K videos even look better in FHD due to something called 'supersampling'. It's a bit of extra work, but if I can't compete with quantity, then I have to compete with quality. I'm also a perfectionist, so why not?
Woc Milk is the best food in the game cause its basically infinite. Just capture 1 Woc in your base, then collect corn for 15 minutes, and u got food for 10 days
One last data point worth comparing is the farming value for the crops involved in each food item. If you've got mini farms, it'll help you gauge how quickly you'll be able to pump them out hassle free. A Pizza Burger requires 2 Potatoes (Harvests 5. So 1.5/5 = 0.3 each) and 2 Tomatoes (1 each), which is a total farming value of 2.6 A Veggie Burger requires 2 Carrots (1 each), 1 Redbeet (1 each), 1 Potato (0.3) and 1 Tomato (1 each) for a total farming value of 4.3 If you have the Steak and Woc Milk laying around, you can certainly pump out more Pizza Burgers. The only remaining question is what the best way is to handle your thirst between burgers? Earlier in the game, Woc Milk is your best bet probably your friend, and since you've already got the stuff, it's not much of a stretch to get the Woc Steak for the Pizza Burger. But once you've got a bigger farm, farming becomes far more convenient than hunting corn and feeding cows.
oh my goodness... now with the addition of the beacon we have actual meters in game right? with that I calculated the height of a mechanic to be around 1.37m tall, it's SO CLOSE to the height you got here from the Woc WOW!
1:30: the problem with measuring it this way is that I doubt that you will be eating the burgers at *exactly* 0 hunger and thrist, you will also probably never have the exact thrist and hunger. In creating the burgers you bind yourself to a item that you will more than likely always be standing to lose the calories you are supposably going to to gain making it, possibly more. It seems like a item you would use in emergency situations.
Great data collection. I have one question remaining, does the increased hydration consumption from running translate directly to distance traveled? If I walk the same distance as running do I burn the same amount, or is it more to run?
Well, I wanted to find that out, but I think I forgot to measure speed. So, I don't know. In the end, it doesn't really matter as you probably have very few food problems anyway.
Then you might as well eat component kits, you gourmet! If you can farm broccoli and pineapples, food is your least concern I guess. But yeah, they work great together if you can afford them.
I would have stated why in a community post, but that's only possible if you have over 1k subscribers. If you want updates about my YT channel, you should probably join the Discord for now and get the youtube-announcements role. There I've said the following: "I won't be able to upload this Friday. I hope to finish my video about survival mods over the weekend. In general, I will be uploading more infrequently for a while. I have another project I'm working on besides YT, and I want more time to reflect on my videos instead of pumping out one after another." However, there will be a video about the new update in the next 12 hours or so, and the mod video is basically done.
Ok cool I understand life is more important than YT you do you it’s your channel and I only asked as there wasn’t anything saying about it so I just wanted to check if you were ok
@@Dr-Pixel You're right. I mean, my videos are not bad in general, but I can't do content on a regular basis. I only have my upload days: Thursday or Sunday. My equipment keeps breaking for no freaking reason and that wastes my time so extremely much and keeps me from gaining any subs. Also, my teachers decide to give me 5 homeworks in one day and that makes it even harder to concentrate on something else. Not to talk about the burden on my laptop. He has to withstand homework and recording and a game on some days. By the way, I noticed that you are either German or Dutch?! XD
From what I saw it's not bad from what most channels upload first. Well, it's not like my first videos have been great either. You should edit a lot more to keep the pace up. Your commentary isn't that engaging. Either improve that or cut more. And learn to improve your Audio quality with compression, EQ, and stuff, if you haven't already. It says in your about section "If you have absolutely no idea what's going on on my channel, I don't have a clue either.". That's bad. You need some focus on your channel. Yeah, it takes a lot of time. I've been working on my channel at least 20h/week for 5 months now. All in my free time and unpaid so far. Well, I'm not here to be your RUclips adviser. I'm just spending too much time replying to comments in depth. If you want to learn a lot more, check out the VidIQ and Grow Your Gaming Channel channels. I'm German. My location is shown in the about section.
@@Dr-Pixel Compression makes everything worse and unclear, and everybody has to start with the things he has. If I have more money, I can buy better stuff which doesn't break in a millisecond. And what do you expect from an overworked me, to speak fascinated about a game? No. I am improving my content as much as possible, but "teachers" who repeat the easiest things which we learnt in prevoius schools 10 times and hard things never, make it even less possible. I have no time to edit, I get 2.5× more homework than usual... :| Ah yes, the lockdown
My bad, I didn't mean compression, but a compressor which you can use to make loud things quieter and quite things louder, which makes everything smoother. Everyone starts at a different place. I'm just suggesting areas where you could improve in.

Scrap Mechanics are around 5.5 blocks tall. With four blocks equating to a meter and in-game unit that would mean scrap mechanics are more around 1.375 meters or 137.5 centimeters.... ... The US really needs to switch to metric sometime. That'd be around four and a half feet btw.

Hello
Still remember me? I love your videos but I don't understand shit
Yes, I do. I sadly can't speak Portuguese. The only other language that I speak is German, but I don't think that would be of any help.

wow google almost predicted scrap mechanic character height.
Very relatable video! Useful and interesting! You got a sub, and like. Keep good work!
Thanks a lot! New good work is coming tomorrow!
Thanks for the info. Was fun to watch.

Glad you like them!
This man needs more subs keep up don't give up
Thanks! With the recent success of the channel, I'm more motivated than ever before!
i feel like there should be more healing items in the game
This was one of the funnniest videos ive seen in a while lol
Thank you!

Awesome
Thank you. I always go to great lengths to do these kind of videos.
Thank you!
Super cool video man !
Glad you enjoyed it
this is the info i was looking for.
Glad I could help!
it's a shame that there is no saturation management as in minecraft example if you eat a burger it falls slower than carrots
The info we all needed... but never the energy to do it.
That's what I'm here for;) The god of diagrams.
as i know, jumping and attacking also burn your stats, you should test it.

7:30 = WHAT A LOT OF CALORIES! (Pizza Burger stills being the best food ever)
Nice editing and contents
Thank you!
let's drink milk; -; because you can't drink water aaaa that video made me hungry
Me: look the video and the content
Also me: here come some subs
Dr Pixel Plays: ❤
@@Dr-Pixel thx for the like my dude
8:03 Bro you opened up my google assistant '_'
this was fun nice video
Thanks
keep up the cool vids and maybe attempt one of my crazy contraption ideas in the discord :)

2:55 Mechanics of the Forest
I have broccolies and pineapples but i always eat carrots and drink milk for some reason is scrap mechanic
But you gotta eat your greens!
it is proven that one block is 25 centimeters, so the mechanic is actually about 1,20m tall (slightly lower than 5 blocks)
If it's proven, then where is the proof? Did the devs say that?
Yes indeed, show proof if its truth
How many calories does healing burn
Who is smaller blueberry or carrot
3:21 they really give you night vision? I am not really into SM foods.
Science
Holy cow how the hell r you gaining so many subs? XD
I'd like to think it has something to do with the quality of my content. Well, it's because the best 10 mods video blew up and got recommended a lot.
