MY STAY AT REGENT TAIPEI: DIAMOND ELITE MEMBER

Went to Taipei and stayed at the Regent using 50,000 points. Did I get upgraded and what benefits did I receive as an Diamond Elite? Also, is the bed really that hard?
All of my travels will use my OWN money, OWN points, and OWN miles. I do not use points/miles/money earned from any referrals. I have zero referrals. I also do not use any so-called "player 2" cards.

We are staying at Regent Taipei end of November for roughly 2 weeks and was very worried about the hard bed haha, this video really helped. Hotel has said they can add another mattress topper if needed.

Oh, glad that it was helpful! When I was checking in, one guest was at the front desk complaining about the bed. He claimed that he had a softer bed the first time he came about a month ago about a month previously. I think that his bed came with a mattress topper. Regardless, it is a good hotel in a great location, and location, location, location!

@@PingPingTravelyeah definitely. My family lives in Beitou and this is much closer than other options I considered like grant Hyatt (due to amazing points redemptions). Can’t wait to see the andaz and park Hyatt Taipei though.
