Everyone should own a Toyota Camry. There's a reason it's the best-selling car in America. No other mid-size sedan deserves to exist. The Camry is a perfect car.
Indeed it is. As I mentioned in here last week, I got a 2016 Camry XLE as my big graduation present and I've been loving it. Interior quality is amazing (near Lexus quality), and it drives great too. The audio system is pretty nice sounding too. I got it with the Entune Premium Audio system without the JBL premium audio and it still sounds very nice. HD Radio sounds very impressive with the right sound settings and Bluetooth audio streaming from my iPhone sounds just as good. In terms of the engine, I got it with the standard 4-cylinder engine, but it still performs very well for it being a 4-cylinder.
Congrats! My mom bought a 2017 Camry XLE 4-cylinder 6 months ago (which I recommended to her) & she loves it very much & I drive a 2015 XSE V6 & it's by far the best car I've ever owned & I'll probably keep it for many many years. It's literally my dream car cause it has everything I've always wanted & more! I still like to stare at it both outside & inside! I have to admit that the 4-cylinder impresses me with it's refinement & performance & it doesn't get loud & buzzy when you step on it. It's by far the best 4-cylinder I've experienced. My car doesn't have the JBL premium audio, but my mom's does (it became standard for 2017). The strange thing is that the Entune Premium Audio system without the JBL is a lot louder & sounds better too, so I'm glad I didn't go for the JBL.
So many idiots are on here saying negative things about the camry.... Well let me tell you, I test drove a camry xse v6 and wow did it not only feel comfy and quiet but the v6 paired with the six speed felt smooth like butter! This car is quick from its car category and is a modern day reliable super comfy sleeper car. It goes fast for every day driving and has a great interior. The alcantara/sued seat inserts and on the door panels feel like the same material used on the 70k+ Lexus rcf coupe used on the door panels. I say this is the best camry to date and they have really surprised me with this one! The tech, safety, and features are the best bang for your buck! You'll actually enjoy and drive the car instead of the being in the shop like many other so called "German engineering" cars.
Troll much? Toyota builds the definition of a CAR. Something that you use everyday and RELY on to do its job. It's an appliance, don't make it seem likes it should be anything more. Being sporty is a plus, no car HAS to be sporty. You can let "European" manufacturer's fool you with their "Sportiness", but I guess people aren't smart enough to realize that it comes at a premium, but at the end of the day did you really need it? The money I saved with my Mazda 6 vs a BMW 3Series or the Merc CLA - I can pay for insurance , gas and maintenance for the next 5 years with the money and time I saved. Whose smarter now? Thank you Japan.
Do you really need nice food? No everyone can live off of KD Mac n' Cheese. Do you need a house? No people can live in trailers. Do you need to work hard? No you can work at McDonald's and earn minimum wage. Why aim high in life when you can aim low as can be and merely exist. If everyone followed that mentality people would have no drive and motivation. Sure nobody needs a German car but they do drive a cut above the rest and really if I worked hard, invested right and want to spend some of my earnings on something nice that I will appreciate I think I have that choice. I love how people seem to think they're better than the rest because they saved a few bucks. If you need to think like that you're already living beyond your means.
Djonkie Bonk Yes ambition is key to success. But my point is about realistic necessity. A bigger house is more beautiful because it has MORE square footage with granite counter tops, mahogany flooring, a huge yard etc. Expensive dishes/meals has imported spices from around the world with delicate meats to go with it. But many cars have 4 tires made from the SAME rubber, aluminum piston engines that use the SAME fuel, brake callipers lined with the SAME steel and a basic steering wheel that carries the SAME function. It is irrelevant to compare cars to OTHER things because car's are pretty much the same. If it's name or brand loyalty you're looking for, then realistically there are TOO many choices. Most (like myself) are contempt with a reliable car that is trouble free. To say "Toyota sucks" is such a fallacy people don't understand what they are saying. And I am proud to be able to know where I can save my money, thank you. And you contradicted your self by saying that because people that save a few bucks think they are better than others; but doesn't having merc/bmw/audi do that too? It's either I get the best car available or something that serves it purpose, no in-between as far as vehicles go. Other things are a different story. I bought a Japanese car because there are far too many other cars that I WANT more than need.
Gotta love Toyotas. I have a 2011 Highlander myself and love it. I just have the base/LE model, but it just amazes me how the interior quality has grown by many leaps and bounds. While the ride quality is basically the same as the first gen (as it should be), the interior and exterior refinements Toyota did to the 2nd gen Highlander makes it that much better of a car.
I still enjoy all of your newer and older videos except for the Toyota ones you are doing a fantastic job on your reviews so please keep them coming! :D
Just bought one yesterday. A black on black XSE with 12k on the engine. Practically brand new! The MPG is slightly less than what I got on my 2014 Honda Accord Touring, but the performance is much better.
I have a Venza 11, and not one day have past that i sherish that beauty. From safety, to comfort, gas saving to speed. Its all in all with Toyota, Lets go places buddy...
What a beautiful car. Prepossessing representation is prominent and practically bold with Toyota's LED headlamps and attractive styling that is unique in this clustered mid-sized segment. In addition to this styling, Toyota definitely has did a "job well done" considering any other automaker did not ever go the extra mile with a practically redesign that in somewhat way look "all-new" in addition to a new bold grille, front fascia as well as the rear-end, which are all new except the A, B and C -pillars. By far with my opinion I actually think the Camry is one of the better looking cars in this segment following Mazda's redesign Mazda-6 and Honda Accord. As aforementioned, this is a clustered segment but Toyota has done enough to gained the likes of thousands who is brand loyal and knows Toyota reliability is quite nearly unrivaled to its competition, respectively. Although Toyota's slogan is "Let's Go Places" but they are definitely going places in terms to their sales with its Camry.
Nice review man! Well done it's like you really go into details on every car! You actually take your time which is good keep up the hard work! And would you mind doing a review on the new 2015 Acura TLX, I have one and I would like to see what you think thanks in advance
Everyone is a style critic. If you don't like it just don't consider buying it the appearance is acceptable to me but reliability puts it over the top above all others in Its class yes there are some with a sportier appearance and more horses but customization is always a option if your not cheap or lazy and the car will probably never leave you on the side of the road waiting to be rescued.
Much better looking than the 2012-14 Camry. I'm going to buy one hopefully in the next year or two before the powertrain warranty expires on my current 2007 Nissan Altima, which is a great car, but has had some problems. My previous car was a 2006 Corolla. I drove it for 5 1/2 years with no problems, but sold it cause it was too small for me. Can't wait to go back to Toyota! I also really want to buy one with the V6. All my cars have been 4-cylinders so far & I've been wanting a V6 forever now! They just sound so much better.
rnorred1986 I agree, now that I've driven a V6, I don't want to go back to a 4-cyl. I live in a police state where no one really drives because they are all terrified of the highway robber men known as gubermint thugs/cops and I just fly by them in my used Camry. I love the pick up and go.
rnorred1986 REAR DESIGN CHEAP SHIT COROLLA, FRONT UGLY LEXUS WANNA BE. DAM NO WONDER THIS CAR IS BOUGHT BY MILLIONS OF CAR ILLITERATE MIDDLE AGED WOMAN WITH NO TASTE.
Why'd they change that classic Toyota chime they've had for like the past 25 years?!?!?!?! That fit Toyota's soo well!! Annoyed at that and the fact that a brand new camry or any toyota product still have engines from almost 10 years ago still in them (Camry,Corolla,4Runner,Tundra,Tacoma etc) and even Lexus and Scion models have the same issue!! Toyota really needs to work on and update their engines
Toyota's changing a lot from what I remember. And it's really good. I like the cozy interior for some reason... and that V6 sound is surprising! It's a great review as always! Did you thought about buying something like PivotHead glasses, instead of wearing GoPro strapped to your head while driving? :D PS Kyle, can we expect the review of a new C-class (W205) Mercedes Benz in near future?
Since I'm graduating from college this weekend, I'm getting a new car as my big present, and a Camry too. Only differences being that mine will be the XLE trim and it will be in one of the gray colors, Predawn Gray Mica I believe. I'm so excited to get it since my brother got one when he graduated too and it's really nice.
Hi SAXMAN. Did you get your car? How do you like it? Did lots of research for lots of hours on the best car of this class. I narrowed it down to the camry and mazda 6. I know lots of people write on these blogs jabbing at the camry. It made me sad, especially when I made up my mind on a 2017 XSE V6. Then I read all these comments all over youtube that make me feel terrible. Truth is, if I bought what all the enthusiasts want, it would give me problems and I'd have years of regret. A comment I read about corollas, is a guy wrote "I bought Toyotas and I always had reliable transportation. If you do this first, you can buy the hot rod down the road when you can afford it." That's true. A mustang looks awesome, but will it last? My current car has a Toyota engine. I ran it for almost twenty years and it never broke down. Wonder how you're doing and hope you can drop me a line.
Yes, I've got it and I've had it for a few months now. I can say without a doubt in my mind that it's an awesome car. The interior quality for the XLE is top-notch for the class, there's plenty of tech and safety options, and all in all it's a great car to drive. I have the 4-cylinder engine myself, and it still has a good amount of pep despite that. Plus, I think it's a great looking car for this class too. It's been running very smoothly for the few months I've had it. In the grand scheme of things, I think you'd be very happy with the Camry, regardless of what trim level you get it in should you decide on getting a Camry over a Mazda 6. If you do decide on a Camry, I highly recommend spending the extra money and going with an XLE or XSE. Either one will give you access to more options like the upgraded Entune audio system with navigation as well as an app suite that integrates with your smartphone, smart key access (which I love), a blind spot monitoring system, and so much more.
Thanks SAXMAN. This was very helpful. If I get the Camry, it will be an XSE V6. It will be that or the Mazda 6. I just need to know which ones work well in the snow, and which of the two has better reliability for long term use. The Camry is Great. For anyone mocking it because of any lack of V8 muscle car stuff, ask them where their car will be in 15 years. Also, when I was a bit older than you, I got a 97 Prism LSI. I got it one year old with 15K miles. That was eighteen years ago and it still is my primary car. That car has a corolla engine. Thanks for great comments and I'm sure you've read the negative comments on other threads. Sincerely, Paul
Cool. As to your comment about which one will work well in the snow, I can tell you now that the Camry is only available in front wheel drive. Not the worst thing ever, but at least it's not rear wheel drive which I've heard is horrible in the snow. I can attest to how well FWD works in the snow since back in high school, the car I drove was a 2005 Highlander. That car only had FWD, but it handled the snow and ice just fine. As for the Mazda 6 though, I don't know off hand if that car offers all wheel drive or not. And finally, in terms of reliability, I would definitely give the advantage to Toyota here. I don't know how they do it, but their cars are some of the most reliable cars you can get for your money. From the 2005 Highlander I drove back in high school and the 2011 one I drove in college, to my new 2016 Camry, I haven't had any major problems with a Toyota vehicle. With all this in mind, I see this Camry of mine lasting a very long time. Just gotta treat it right and keep up with scheduled maintenance and stuff and it'll be a keeper for years to come.
I have this exact red xse with V6. The water pump went out at 29,600 miles and now the screen is out of calibration, the buttons on the bottom of the screen don’t work anymore. Thanks Toyota
I used to want a car that's all exciting and such. Then I got one, and now honestly i just want a car that doesn't break down and gets me there comfortably. Most of my commute is on the freeway so all that "road hugging agility" does me exactly moot.
Toyota did not care to be a leader in design for the longest time. Instead, they focused on efficient, high-quality production that passed those cost efficiencies down to consumers. A lot of competing car manufactures with a "better" design can guarantee you reliability as much as they want, because when it comes to repairs under warranty they fail to comply since it was your fault for buying something that had no bona fide way to determine that their vehicles would deliver the way you wanted it to. SATISFACTION is high with Toyota, and their sales prove this.
RickyTomatoes What were you expecting? For them to look like supercars? What non-luxury sedan and compact car looks amazing? Don't tell me Mazda6...compare their sales... There is a reason why Toyota has many models that are segment leaders all over the world...they are a brand for the masses...most people don't want pretentious over the top styling.. The new Camry and Corolla look modern enough with nicely updated interiors. TFiPW you as well, what were you expecting, for the Corolla to evolve into a sports car? It is a economy compact car, it doesn't need horsepower..people who are buying in that segment are looking for affordability, efficiency, comfort, spacious interiors, reliability...why would Toyota change their winning formula and suddenly offer something out of left field? I don't give a crap about non-performance vehicles for any make, but I still marvel at how people talk bullshit about cars..
Do you think you could review a new Honda Fit LX? Ive been looking at them and it would be awesome to see a in depth review of one before I buy it! Love your videos. Keep up the good work!
+Jeffrey deleon Its the same model as the 2015 Camry. Just manufactured late 2015 (while the 2015s are made late 2014). So, basically, 2015 Camry reviews can be applied to the 2016 Camry.
Love this car. Comfortable, sporty, quality materials, and most important reliable. Less is always more.
Yep
I wouldn’t say the interior materials are “quality”. Toyota interiors feel pretty cheap
Everyone should own a Toyota Camry. There's a reason it's the best-selling car in America. No other mid-size sedan deserves to exist. The Camry is a perfect car.

We have a 2008 model. Very great commuter and family vehicle.

Kuya Arbee They need a Camry ACV Model or so call Prestige Camry.
ACV50 Camry is luxury version of this same car.
It's pretty amazing how much different cars have changed, my 93 camry doesn't even compare lol

Facts bruh 😂
Whoo!~ A hybrid that looks like a regular car! Nice! An' the sound of the v6 is absolutely amazing! Did not expect that at all!
Tails Furse Toyota does have a good sounding v6 for sure!
Toyota also made a 870 HP Sleeper version with a Supercharged V8. As seen in SEMA.
***** I have the same engine in my Venza. Get her over 3,000 RPM and that baby will sing!
Gabriel Alvarez yeah, a tundra 5.7 engine and tundra trans and axle and its awesome
It does sound nice! I have that same engine in my 2011 Highlander and it has quite a good amount of pickup for a V6 if I would say so myself.
Ugh I love this car!!!! It looks so beautiful in white!
lol he reviewed my brother

Lmaoooo
Looks like the twins are here! @Toyota Corolla @Corolla Chronicles
Troll much? Toyota builds the definition of a CAR. Something that you use everyday and RELY on to do its job. It's an appliance, don't make it seem likes it should be anything more. Being sporty is a plus, no car HAS to be sporty.
Why settle for something lame when you go above and beyond to get something you truly want?
hows 'bout it But now you got a Mazda. Your argument is invalid.

Probably the best looking Camry they have ever made.
I'm not a big Toyota fan but this Toyota Camry is something I might consider buying
I still enjoy all of your newer and older videos except for the Toyota ones you are doing a fantastic job on your reviews so please keep them coming! :D
Those 3.5s are very powerful nice bulletproof engines though. My 2010 ES has one... Love it!
Great review Kyle! I bought an I4 XSE in early-June and I love it. It's a great daily driver with a little injection of fun.
I love my Toyota Camry I had it for 6 years and works fine
Just bought one yesterday. A black on black XSE with 12k on the engine. Practically brand new! The MPG is slightly less than what I got on my 2014 Honda Accord Touring, but the performance is much better.
how much mpg city?
From the 911 to the Huracan, to the mighty mustang, to the Toyota Camry. Excellent once again.
I have a Venza 11, and not one day have past that i sherish that beauty. From safety, to comfort, gas saving to speed. Its all in all with Toyota, Lets go places buddy...
Been waiting for this video for a long time now! Next the 2015 Acura TLX please!
David, he did an Acura a couple months ago.
***** He actually did a ZDX a couple of months ago.
Whoa!!! Didn't expect a Camry V6 to sound like the Straight-Six powering many BMW-35s!
Best looking Camry ever built in my opinion.
Looks really good. Much better than the older, more bland models.
I approve!
My dream Toyota sedan!! Brilliant job bro.
Toyota stepping up their game!
This Camry looks better than the previous ones, interior looks great!
Hope the new supra has a good interior!
Saabkyle you are so cool man.✌😎
I love this car,but I’m going to start with a 2012 Toyota Camry se V6 as my first car,but as my second car I’ll get this one
I love my 2012.
In my opinion the 2012 looks way better than the 2015. Coming from a 2012 SE owner
Thank you Kyle for saying "refreshed" instead of ALL-NEW like some claim.

Ponte Vedra Beach! I lived there 15 years ago now. I was there when those palm trees were planted in the median of A1A. Haha!
Hey Kyle, can you film the Alfa Romeo 4c? They are sold at ferrari and maserati dealerships since they have no official dealerships.
Motor trend has a good 4c video.
I watched those videos.
They don't sell Alfa Romeos in the states.
xCkillaxC No. Alfa Romeo, Peugeot in New York dealeship.
ankhaa battulga Huh, did not know that. Thanks.

Nice review man! Well done it's like you really go into details on every car! You actually take your time which is good keep up the hard work! And would you mind doing a review on the new 2015 Acura TLX, I have one and I would like to see what you think thanks in advance

People really underestimate cars like the venerable Camry.
Although it may not be the most exciting car, thank you for reviewing this very realistic car the masses! :)
Very nice, best looking Camry to me!
Most Toyota cars are great for family cars, my dad's Toyota Unser is only 12 y/o and has never broken down once :D
Awesome! I've been so excited for this. I love your reviews, no one can do it quite as good as you. Can you also do the new Avalon to sometime?
Gotta love thatgrill! It's cool to see how much it's evolved.
Excellent job Kyle.
Nice video kyle!
Kyle Busch won the 2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series championship in this car!
Correction Kyle, i own the 2015 toyota camry Le and it does not come equipped with smart key access.

I have a 2012 Camry Se v4. Nice ride and never a problem. This new camry v6 looks more sweet.
Two safe long lasting good cars.
Love your vídeos, my friend!
It looks refined and it is bigger I prefer this over the previous gen
I just got one but it as a 4 Cylinder and grey interior. It’s a very nice car and for a 4 Cylinder it’s got very good pickup.
Great review as always!

Mine is the same year and have the same issue. Did you have any other problems?
Iskateminilogo
That’s it for now. The water pump replacement cost me $460
Can you review the 2018
Looks like a bigger Corolla to me. I like the last gen better. That black grill is trying to look a bit much like the new Lexus as well.
Lexus is Toyota's luxury division bruh
i know that bruh but they dont need to look just like each other in the front either. Toyota needs its own look.
Tru
This is the same generation Camry as the 2012-14 btw
The last gen!!?? You gotta be kidding me, the last gen is so freaking ugly!! The interior too! This gen is way better.
Hi kyle! Will you make vidéos of old cars and other vehicules like bus or truck, like in your old videos?
I used to want a car that's all exciting and such. Then I got one, and now honestly i just want a car that doesn't break down and gets me there comfortably. Most of my commute is on the freeway so all that "road hugging agility" does me exactly moot.
Excellent review
Toyota did not care to be a leader in design for the longest time. Instead, they focused on efficient, high-quality production that passed those cost efficiencies down to consumers. A lot of competing car manufactures with a "better" design can guarantee you reliability as much as they want, because when it comes to repairs under warranty they fail to comply since it was your fault for buying something that had no bona fide way to determine that their vehicles would deliver the way you wanted it to. SATISFACTION is high with Toyota, and their sales prove this.
Nice review as always :) are you gonna review the rav4?
where is this neighborhood during the test drive? its so nice
The Camry shape gets better generation after generation
great video. will you be doing anymore classic cars? 82-92 preferably?
Ben Dover Not in the immediate future, but I'm always on the lookout for cool things.
Nice video. What town and state was this in? At 3:05 those houses look nice.
I may be wrong but I think you have never done a foxbody mustang and I would love to see one featured on the channel
if you could get your hands on a Ford Tempo, do you think you could do a in depth and start up and what not?
Any Chances on an RCF review soon???

The metamorphosis is complete! The Camry and Corolla have both evolved to look like two big, polished turds!
....hater.
The new Corolla only has 2 more HP than my '03 Corolla. It's literally the same shit.
TFiPW 2 more horsepower, and not completely outdated...
Toyota still using the same alarm system from their old 2000 models
same chime sound and boring keyfobs lol
My stepdad has a 2011 Toyota Camry and it's gray and it is in good shape
Kyle how come you never did a review of the new avalon?
LE and Se have a keyed ignition standard. just letting you know. you have to spend nearly 4k to get the smart key on SE trim.
The All-New Camry "Let's Go Places."
Do you think you could review a new Honda Fit LX? Ive been looking at them and it would be awesome to see a in depth review of one before I buy it! Love your videos. Keep up the good work!

What about a vid of the 2013 Rav4?
I need a review on the 2016 camry , by November counting on you .
+Jeffrey deleon
Its the same model as the 2015 Camry. Just manufactured late 2015 (while the 2015s are made late 2014). So, basically, 2015 Camry reviews can be applied to the 2016 Camry.
He would be saying "... Like I said in my previous Camry review"
Could you please do a video for 2015 Audi s5 and ra5 !
